I'm right with you Jac -you inspired me to start stocking shopping right away.  Scott's and my MIL's stockings kind of sucked this year - they are both so hard to do stocking for w/o spending a mint.  So today I got some bath and bodyworks stuff for my mil and I'll be back to list it on my own christmas 2006 thread once it's all sorted (omg I spent $106 but got a ton of stuff including teacher gifts for all 3 of c's teachers for the end of the year plus teacher's gifts for next Christmas)

went thru it all and also got enuff to make a nice gift bag for my sister for either her bday or xmas next year and two nice things for my sil  to put with whatever i end up getting her next year and my mil's stocking will have several things including some aromatherapy and headache remedies (the natural bath and bodyworks kind), bath soaps, a hand mitt and kitchen hand soap and lotions and stuff.  plus the two teacher's gifts for next year and 3 end-of-year teacher's gifts for this year so not bad.  i don't really love to shop ahead of time anymore but it is nice to get the harder stuff like her stocking out of the way.  i also got a charm for my best friend's 10yo daughter's bday coming up in feb - i have bought her a charm every year for her bday plus one the year she was born and plan to buy her a bracelet for them when she is 18 and they had buy one, get one half off so i got next year's too!

hope you don't mind me messing up ur thread - feel free to delete if you want to :-)  right now i am taking down xmas stuff and putting it all on the dining room table to start packing up tomorrow or the next day.  christmas was WONDERFUL this year but i still don't want to leave the decorations up - i'm ready for them to GO
