I declare Anti-Procrastination Day!!!  I challenge you to do 1 big thing and 2 small things or several small things you've been putting off!!!

Not sure what mine will be yet but I definitely have plenty to choose from!

Ok, I'm still here...  Believe me, holding him while he sleeps is my excuse to not have to do anything! lol Plus, he keeps me warm and with this cold, he seems to sleep very restless unless he's on someone. So, I have a feeling if I put him down, he'll wake up. This way, I know he's getting a good chunk of sleep.

Bah, hefty bag! i bet you look great!

I'm needing to go to the bathroom and the girls have finished their 3rd movie for today... yikes. They needed a down day though and I don't feel the least bit of guilt except that I've been mostly in the basement today while they've been in the living room. So, yeah, maybe I do feel guilty.

Gotta check dh's xbox that came (the second doorbell ring.) That trumps everything else on the list. lol I want to know if they repaired his old one or if this is a new one. It was expected to take much longer and online, it says it's still being repaired. So, this was a surprise (but probably one they do on purpose so you'll think, ooo, they are so great to have it done ahead of time!)

you bought him the xbox for christmas right?  did he already have one that broke?  confused here, but that's a normal state of mind

don't feel like doing anything else.  laid out snack, packed c's homework box finally (been promising it since i made b's a few weeks ago - just a box with calculator, ruler, tape, scissors, etc that's ONLY for homework).  he doesn't need that stuff but he likes to feel big.  well maybe the gluestick and tape but otherwise he doesn't need much.  even if he's measuring they give them paper rulers for homework.  meanwhile braeden needed a protractor and compass and a bunch of other stuff.  getting old sigh...

i want to get my list together for from now 'til christmas and show it to scott and see what he can take.  he can definitely wrap gifts but it takes him 4x as long (they are much prettier though) so i'm not sure if his time would be better spent elsewhere.  he's also a very good vacuumer, very careful.  again, takes 4x as long - i do well at other people's houses or when i'm thoroughly vacuuming but otherwise, middle of the room baby! :-)  if i ask him to just keep the kitchen and dining room clean that would be a big help too.  i'll have to talk to him tonight while we're driving. the college is an hour each way.

gotta go get the kiddos.

The Xbox was a present from his dad last Christmas. We were having issues with it so he shipped it away a few weeks ago. I got him a Playstation3. lol, I live in confusion!

Ok, now I'm in a frustrated, bad mood. The kids are driving me nuts, I'm sick and tired of mess. It feels like I make a very tiny progress in one area, only for it to be totally undone. AUGH

I'm starving so I'm sure that's not helping. I guess I should make an early supper. Just me and the kids and Em won't eat much. So, I think I'll just do pancakes. I really hope I can make a little progress tonight but I'm not really counting on much. Heck, even if I just take care of the messes that happened today, that would be good.

Have a good night! Not sure I'll get on here again tonight either.

I just have to update cause this is just ridiculous. We're all downstairs and we hear a sound so we assume it's the cat (which it was.) I go upstairs and my table cloth and ALL of the little craft stuff I had out on it is on the floor. Sparkles, little sequins, foam stickers, stamps, glue, etc etc are all dumped out. I'm so beyond ticked. The cat must have got caught in the table cloth or something.

I totally give up. I'm ready to just head to bed and call it a night. Of course, all this stuff will be waiting for me tomorrow AND more.

Maybe Angel and Winnie should get together.  They could go on a house destroying binge?

Good luck and {{hugs}} for your rough day.  A better one tomorrow!

lol, yeah, our cats would make quite the pair, eh?!

Well, I've calmed down and I'm feeling a tad better. My house is still bad but I feel a little more in control. The girls were so sweet and spent at least 15 mins picking up the craft mess that Winnie did. I still have to sweep up bits and put away the stuff but it saved my back and/or knees, big time!

All 3 are sleeping! yay! Timmy and I had a shower/bath so that helped me. I managed to deal a bit more with T's room. I think I've come up with a plan. Obviously I have to keep up with some amount of cleaning but I've decided that I'll likely do it late Sat. or early Sun. morning anyways. So, my goal is to just keep the counters clean, dishes done and dr/kitchen/front hall swept. The bathrooms could use some cleaning but they're not that bad and they can wait til Sat. So now, I'm going to focus on baking/cooking stuff and clutter. I'm not even going to worry about picking up the toys in the basement cause I'll have to do it after Friday anyways. I CAN work on the craft area though. yikes.

Great... I think I hear Timmy crying. So, I may be done for the night. Maybe I'll set the alarm for 6 and see how an extra hour in the morning would be.

Wanna meet me here at 6:15?  I'll check.  We're not allowed to write more than 3 vertical lines in the much narrow posting window, so that will keep us off here.  Even if you use the extra hour to wake up it's still an extra hour.

Gotta go - I'll be here by 6:15 and maybe you will too (but dont' feel bad if you're not!)  That will help keep me from hitting snooze!!

It's Wednesday again.

I got desperate and asked my mom to come help me pick up.  I can't really pick up well and neither can Scott - his shoulders are really bothering him.  Maybe if I can at least get things picked up I'll feel brighter.  Embarrassing to ask her though - she never asks for help with anything and will be 68 this year.  And my dad never asks for help despite being in constant pain.  He just hobbles around doing what needs to be done - sigh

Anyway today is A-P Wednesday.  Maybe after I pick up I will call HACC.  I also need to make a few other phone calls.  Or maybe I iwll nap!  I don't think I've slept more than 2 hours at a time since the accident...  Last night I slept in 20 minute bursts

How did you do yesterday, Joni? Augh, how frustrating about not being able to pick up things :( Though, I can relate being pregnant and either having my tummy in the way or back issues! lol How did it go with your mom?

I hope you got a nap! That sucks about not sleeping well... is it because you're still sore?

I was semi-around yesterday. It was a pretty busy one though. I'm proud of myself, sorta... I called the lunch lady from school to ask if she needed help counting money before school started. She said yes so I then had to call my friend, cause I was watching her daughter in the morning, and tell her husband to drop her off at the school. So, we helped out at the school until 10:30 and then rushed over to Delaney's swimming lessons. They are 25 mins long and she only was there for about 10 mins. augh I think I have to move my butt faster when doing the money thing cause I want to help out still but Delaney's swimming lessons come first. Thankfully, the money counting happens eveyr other week.

So, we got home, Braelyn's dad was waiting for her so then we got inside, I made lunch, got Timmy to sleep and then had to take Sweetums to the vet. Delaney actually fell asleep on the couch with her! She didn't even realize. lol

Sooo, I'm very glad that it's just me and Timmy today. I wasn't going to go anywhere but I think I'll make a quick stop at the grocery store to get ground turkey so that I can actually follow this recipe that I'm making for supper. I should go in the morning as it's a crockpot recipe (though is good with only 4-6 hrs of cooking on low or 2-3 on high.) I will likely have a nap as well since I got to bed late last night and Timmy woke up early this morning. I'm hoping to get the bathrooms cleaned and wash all the laundry (not sure about getting it away but I can hope!) Also, gotta call the dr (still) and the fire extinguisher place (procrast item since Oct!!) Shoot, I should make a stop at the bank. I gotta get a money order and I should close my single account since we're not using it for my daycare money so it's just eating fees.

Ack, I've got 2 lunches to make this morning. I better get moving!

I'm actually feeling ok though I can imagine I'll want to nap at around 2:30 when it's WAY too late to do so!

I've been doing pretty well. Still not as good as I would hope but still. Here's some ta das:
-called dr, made appt for Timmy's booster shots
-called code red, the odd thing is, she said she'll try to be over asap to check out my fire extinguisher. Um, yeah, that was 3 hrs ago. She said she'd call first but I don't know if as soon as she could meant today, tomorrow, next week!?
-load into dryer, load into wash
-made cupcakes for laura's birthday tomorrow (for afternoon snack)
-made my bed, somewhat made Em's bed
-took out chicken for supper as we won't be having the crockpot thing.
-got D's health card stuff all ready to mail
-did dishes from this morning and lunch... have a few now from cupcakes and I made this cake in a mug which I hated. blech
-got T down for a nap, twice.
 -swept basement stairs
-found jar for pens and pencils, just temporary though

So, still to do:
 -finish washing dishes
-clean main floor bathroom, upstairs bathroom (dont' worry about floors right now)
-clear off dr table
-cut up pears and make popcorn for afternoon snack
-take cake out of oven (had leftover mix so just made a small round cake)
-get potatoes ready for supper... hash brown type things? Fries? not sure what yet
 -D WD WD
-get Em's duvet stuffed, finish making her bed
 -lay out clothes for tomorrow
-empty girls' backpacks, wash those dishes
-get Em to do home reading and spelling
 -get Laura's birthday present
-go to bank, get bank order, close account
-get girls' to make art for my parents, get envelope ready, mail Costco forms to them
-mail health card info and bread contest thingy
 -take omega 3 and vitamin
-make up shopping list and menu once I look through next week's flyers (after supper)
 -sweep/mop dr/kit/hall
-make sure living room is picked up
 -email Rebecca back
-spend 15 mins on cleaning up our room
-start a bucket of oxiclean clothes
-watch Grey's at 9pm
-figure out when I can make apple sauce (check the status of the apples first... ahhh), see if dh would be good with keeping the kids busy Sunday afternoon, maybe?
-double check T's ball hockey times for Sat.
-make up a plan for tomorrow... REMEMBER TO GO TO SCHOOL FOR 12:30 FOR PIZZA DAY

I've got about an hour and 15 mins. Timmy has been napping for about an hour, actually, an hour and a half. So, dont' think I'll have much more quiet time. Still going to try to work hard until he wakes up and then he'll likely want a snack and I REALLY need to focus on playing with him, etc. augh, there's so much I want to change about my dumb habits and routine.

I'm exhausted and have about 1/2 hr until tv time for an hour (and then likely sleepy time.)

I'm thinking I won't be getting my list done, especially since I didn't get out tonight so the bank stuff and present will be done likely Sat. morning.
