Ok, i'm feeling wiped. My legs and feet are killing me and my head kills. But, I woke up feeling MUCH better cold wise! Still have the cracked lips and nose but don't feel so full of snot. We're supposed to get hit with ANOTHER 10 cm overnight or tomorrow and then Wed, it's supposed to be snow/rain or something. So, the next two days may not be the greatest for driving around in. I'm thinking I should get any running around done today. Plus, I have a feeling I'd just sit around and do nothing if i didn't get out.         -finish tidying kitchen -figure out meals for this week -make up list for each day and who we still need to buy for, what prep stuff we have to do for each get together, etc -sweep/mop main floor -pick up living room, put away new clothes, gifts, etc -take Em to get her hair cut? -put dr table leaf away -load into wash, put away ALL laundry -pack clothes for my parents (while I put away laundry, then we'll be ready!) -get dh to call FIL about Sat. plans -go shopping? We're only supposed to get rain but just in case I got my running done this morning and I'll stop and get lettuce and whatever other fresh food I left off when I went grocery shopping the other day.  Sounds like a bad storm system coming down through the Northeast.     I'm going to pretend I'm cleaning for a client today.  Although my client is very messy and did not prepare for me grrrrr.  I should charge her extra for all this clutter and not getting ready for me!!!        So I'm going to work from 9:30 'til about 1 doing that and then I'll look at the rest of my list.  I'm not vacuuming today other than the floors I want to handwash or mop, so I should definitely be able to get the dusting, windexing, bathrooms, hard floors, and whatever needs to be done in the kitchen done by 1 if I start right away and work like I'm on a job and don't get distracted.  I just have to keep reminding myself about how nice it will feel  on Wednesday to be able to do "tweaky" things like gluing new lemonheads on the gingerbread house or possibly putting in a cobblestone street on the village as a surprise to the kids!  Or possibly meet dh and the kids after their movie to do a last minute little dollar store trip like I did one year on Christmas Eve and they were thrilled. |

Man, having a VERY slooow morning. I think we're finally ready to hit some stores though which likely means eating out for lunch... hmm     Good luck with your cleaning! I love the idea of cleaning for someone else! I can imagine I'd get stuck up on our clutter as well :(      I did a few things off my list but I'll leave the updating til later so I can get out of here.         |

Wow, you've been doing awesome!     All I've done is take a long time to leave because of snacking and just wondering around and we went to the mall. All I got was an extra present for Delaney that I may take back, once we wrap what we have. ahhh     They have my ragdoll/himalayan kitties at the pet store there so we probably watched them for at least 10 mins. Only 2 out of the 4 were awake!     I am absolutely wiped. I didn't want to go anywhere else cause it's SO cold and windy out there (yet sunny.)     man, it's taken me 1.5 hrs to write this, I think? We have had lunch and just vegged. The kids want to set up the hot wheels track Timmy got yesterday from Grandma. It's our first track set so I'm excited! lol But, I dont' want to do anything but sleep. I dont' think they could try to set it up on their own though :( darn.     I think I'll put on a sweater and slippers and figure out if a quick rest is feasible or if I need to pump myself with something to wake me up. |

I hope it works - Hotwheels tracks are FRUSTRATING!  Fun though - I always  make Scott set them up.     We are a mess, aren't we?  Already depressed about Christmas being over ROFL.  Talk about making up reasons to be sad!  It's still back there in my mind, though - sigh...     I lay in bed all afternoon not asleep but not fully awake.  Angel is my sleeping buddy.  I let her nap with me once this weekend and she was good so I tried it again.  I usually can't stand cats anywhere near the top of the bed while I sleep but this wknd she climbed under the covers after licking my nose only once and her purring didn't irritate me the way cat purring normally does.  But today she wouldn't lie still.  I wasn't irritated though.  I felt like I would with a toddler.  Frustrated, indulgent, but not too mad that she wouldn't lie down because she was cute and I wasn't being woken up since I hadn't really fallen asleep.  If she'd woken me up from sleep, it would have been different (BTDT when she's escaped at night and jumped on my chest at 4AM!).  But she did keep me from falling asleep and then I was too cold despite all 3 of my carefully orchestrated cover layers (thin fleece, thick fleece, heavy comforter) so I know it was inside me that was cold.  And the inside of my elbows ached which happens sometimes when I sleep and is pretty painful and I'm not sure why they do that but neither bending them nor unbending them helps!  Plus I had to pee LOL.  No wonder I lay there for over 2 hours with no sleep however I got up not feeling as tired so the rest alone helped.  And I did doze, I'm pretty sure.     I need to pick up more.  I started once I got up before getting the kids and all the first level rooms are pretty straight.  I need to do the hallway aka dumping ground and the bedrooms.  The laundry room probably needs a once over as well.  Not sure how much cleaning I'm going to get done but the living room looks beautimous and nobody but me can tell my cleaning was half-hearted, especially since our dinner is in the evening (I'm not sure how it will look in gray Christmas morning light when we open our stocking in there though but hopefully my MIL will be too bleary-eyed to notice the dust motes floating around!).  We are supposed to have pouring down rain on Christmas so maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be dark enough for lamplight and not show dust! :-)     Need to look at my main list also and see what non-cleaning stuff was supposed to be done today... |

Well, they were ok to just play with the cars. So, the track is out but not set up. Plus, it needs batteries and dh packed them away and I have yet to see them since we moved.      I'm still feeling iffy but not dead tired. My head feels a little clogged.     How old is Angel now? Our cat usually always sleeps at our feet every night. I guess because he's now 5, he doesn't cause us problems.      Gotta update my list too. augh Somehow, I have to get stuff done. That should be fun. I lost all of our batteries for about 6 months this year and we didn't even move!     Angel is 16 weeks so still a baby.  We always let Mowgli and Coyote (our old old cat) sleep with us at our feet - I'd push them away from my head until eventually they learned.  But starting with Sami and Boothe we started locking them away, partially to keep them away from the kids at night and partially to give Mowgli a break from the kittens.  So we still do that only now with Sami and Angel.  So she hasn't learned and I am thinking I don't want to push her away because she is so affectionate - as long as it won't be an issue since she doesn't sleep with us I'm going to try to be tolerant but there have been times during the day when I've had to kick her butt out of the bedroom lol.     I'm having anxiety.  I don't know why.  I'm going into shutdown mode.  Trying to keep puttering without looking at any lists.  I have no idea what my problem is - maybe I'm so on track that I feel like I missed something?  I don't know!  I just feel like no matter what I do there's going to be something I missed.     Leaving for the pack meeting now! |

well the pack meeting totally threw me off.  i feel like everything is over so i'm in relax mode when i shouldn't be.  help!  i don't know how you did your big dinner and are still going.  i'm not used to having anything going on but our dinner.  my wonderful neighbors two doors down who i love but rarely see because they are about 10 years older so are in a different phase of their lives (even though you and i are 10 years apart and are in similar phases but i guess it all goes by when you have kids because theirs are 19 and 22).  they are coming - i invited them to stop by - we usually stop by their house.  warren, the husband, used to work with scott which is how we learned about moving up here.  debbie has been kind of a mentor.  she is just so kind.  they are coming to see our village and the woodworking project braeden made from wood warren gave him (the scratching post).  i invited them because i really like them and am pretty on track but also to give myself incentive to do a lot of final tweaking tomorrow instead of waiting 'til wednesday.  they never come to our house even though we live about 50 yards away so i want things to be super nice.  they'll be up at 7:30.     i think other than a few things i can do in bed i'm going to take tonight off.  i'll see you tomorrow morning! |

Ah, you're so close to the end!! I'm not sure I experienced shut down mode, just do nothing mode but I blame that being on sick, etc. (oh, that should be experienced shut down mode THIS time around. I totally know what you mean though.)     Aw, that's so cool about your neighbours! Some extra incentive to keep going at stuff!     Well, the living room is pretty much back to spotless though I need to sweep up the pile. Dr and kitchen are still a little scary but we worked on the dishes a bit. Had to break down a bunch of boxes from gifts.     I was going to wrap presents tonight but dh has a call to make for his side business so I have a feeling that'll take a good hour and not sure I want to wrap on my own or wait up for him. I pulled the presents out though so I think I'll just bring them downstairs and put a blanket over them. The girls are good at not peaking.      Man, I'm not that tired but I feel foggy. My head just feels full. I'm sure I could easily fall asleep if I did head to bed now. Sooo, I'm done for the night too. Gotta make sure I work my butt off tomorrow. |
