Check out this article.  Eye opening.  Look at what it says about 20 grams of sugar which is what is recommended as the max for an adult in the lowest range of caloric intake.  My dh convinced me to get pop tarts and I said ok because he hardly ever indulges in treats and one pop tart has 18 grams of sugar!  A can of coke has teaspoons of sugar!  If I eat too much sugar my heart seems to beat to fast.
