a girl off huggs gave me this recipe and I made it for lunch today....omg! its sooo beautiful!! I totally recommend it if you are pasta people....
I added the bracketed stuff. It was a huge hit with B and B too, so bonus! lol

carbonara

ingredients -
1 fairly lge onion
bacon (I used 5 rashers and that was enuf, trimmed fat of course)
Maggi mushroom soup sachet (I couldnt find maggi so used a continental cream of m/room soup mix instead)
300ml cream
pasta (I used about 250g penne but you could use whatever you want)

chop onion and some bacon,

fry an onion and some bacon,

then mix together a sachet of Maggi mushroom soup and 300ml cream (fattening!)

add that to the onions/bacon.

Simmer till nice and creamy.

Then add it to some fresh pasta!

So good!
