I dare to dream of times before,
a past so long ago..
with kingdoms ran by kings and queens
times most will never know
Ive felt the coldness of the sword
upon my skin so soft
Ive slept above the tavern rooms
in dark and musty loft
I rode the swiftest strongest steeds
with thundering hooves so fleet
Across the meadows, fields and streams
and mountainsides so steep.
Ive danced the dances near the fires
wild flowers in my hair
with flowing gown of softest silk
upon my skin so fair
I do believe that lives we live
are many.. short and long
some remembered some forgot
but all to the same song.
