Raise Him Up
these are the years Jesus reigns
His Father has made him our King
so why do so many pray & speak to God
raise Jesus up by praying to him
as a child is beaten
Jesus rescue it
as tears fall like rain
replace sorrow with joy
may we walk in your blessings
as the beauty of a hawk soaring calms the soul
not knowing we bring evil in our world
Jesus please forgive us
many voices cry out to God
like rolling thunder in the sky
if only we cried out to Jesus
his heart would fill with joy
for his heart knows sorrow
his wounds are as deep as the sea
cry out his name in prayer
showing that you believe
for to get to His Father we must pass through Him
