He stands among the greatest,
and sails the skys of blue.
His shadow brings a shiver
to the tiny ,young, and new.
 
The eagle rests upon the ledge,
a summit far above...
the hills and valleys pines and peaks
of mountains that we love.
 
It's not because he needs to fear
the creatures far below.
But just because his greatness needs
a place near heavens glow.
