APPLE PROJECTOR
apple
red and yellow-green
glowing restfully
from the top of the heap
in the Federal Blue bowl
projecting pictures at me
into my thoughts 
from it's beginnings
before life on the branch
till now. Through it's 'eye'
I see
the blossom babies
the bees
the next apple tree
the sun and the rain
I witness their fright
from threat of the wind
that could rip them away
and toss them to ground
visions abound
now multiplied
to kaleidascopeing
swirling hues and scenes
by the added projections
from sibling apples
below it
in the Federal Blue bowl
on my Colonial style table
joining in this moment
when
I can know their lives
and sense how they loved them
shit
Now
how
to go about slicing
dicing
making sauce...
