Our Rose
 
The rose unfolds its petals
embracing  warm suns glow.
It's beauty everlasting
amid springs flower show.
 
A scent one will remember
long after beauty fades.
Reminding us of moments spent
adoring blooming days.
 
Just like the rose of springtime,
our friend still lingers here.
Reminding us of moments spent
and that shes still so near.
 
Her gentle ways reminding
to treat each other well
Her living, not her passing
should be the things we dwell.
 
Should Peny leave our earthly shores
to walk in peace and light
We wont forget her beauty here
that shown through oh so bright.

One of Peny's finest traits is also one of the reasons I tend to love 3-4 year old kids the most...the ability to not only see the beauty in everything, but also having the strong desire to share that beauty and discovery with others.  And another trait is one she shared with my mom...being able to see good in everyone, even when no one else can (or wants to try).  I wish her well in whatever path she next travels. 
 
And the above poem...beautiful.

Yup...Jess, as usual, Lovely words from a Lovely Lady.....and Peny was a Rose some didn't stop to smell...their Loss...I'm one of them...I had every oppurtunity to visit with her..and didn't...MY LOSS...

ive been rolling a few things around in my brain...emotional and crisis mode are somtimes the best for writing..i hate to spill the sadness all over the boards..but i really am hurt over her loss...she had spunk..love..tenderness and careing ...she will always have a place in my heart.
ill see what i can do.
