Placing You on My Hard Drive
The spring of May is flowing
in droplets down my face
the rain of gentle water
as I slip right into place
Beneath your arm of comfort
as it wraps around my waist
your lips press mine in ardor
the liquid love I taste
Your hands are gentle feathers
upon my skin they trace
the curves that give me goosebumps
the warmth of your embrace
You breathe my subtle flavor
you touch my heart of lace
my thoughts can feel your wishes
my arms can feel your grace
We'll make this day seem endless
as we float in endless space
no need to hurry onward
no need to rush in haste
I'll place you on my hard drive
with a copy and a paste
where memories live forever
and never get erased........
