EXCAPE INTO MY WORLD
He bounds into
My lap
Again
With his squeeky toy
Munching it in my face
So I will play-
He always takes
Such good care of me
And washes my face
Tiredlessly-
The kittens
Step on my keyboard
And swipe at my curser
They sleep on my shoulder
They hang over my monitor--
When I recline
Its a free for all
Shes mine,
No shes mine,
No youre wrong,
Shes ours!
They settle around me
On my bed and the floor beside
Me-
Snoring
And fluffing
Soon to be a
6-dog night!
I never need my electric
Blanket anymore,
They all see to that.
One on my head
A few at my feet
And more beside me-
Do I live alone?
Hardly
Would I give this up
Never!
To find a man
That I could love as
Much
As my dog!
