Here is one that Danielle and I just recntly wrote together.
I gaze past the stars
Beyond all that is known
And I catch a glimpse
Of what is yet to come
The past at my back
And the future ahead
Picking out pieces of time
Capturing every moment
Savoring the good
And learning from the bad
A sacred kiss
Bestowed upon my lips
And a sweet embrace
That captures more than my being
There are not enough stars in the universe
To equivocate this divine love
Nor enough empty space between them
In which to place its depth
The sun, the moon, the stars
Each an eternal light
Are but a glimmer when compared
To what is held within my heart
I look into your eyes
And see beyond the unknown
And I catch a glimpse
Of all that has ever been
