I thought about one way we could get to know all of you new people on the block, and them us. We all have unique and distinct chat nics that describe some part of our personality. I thought it would be cool to find out how everyone came up with theirs. And, alittle about who you are, where you are, and interests or hobbies. First I thought this would be just for newbies, but then on second thought, if we all did this, theyd come to know us better and visie versie! lol Try to think youre introducing yourself for the first time here. I guess i'll start. Im in central oregon, the high desert region, so we have the snow from the mts. and the sand from the desert. Its quite unique, really. Anyway, I love it here. I got my name because I used to think I was a country girl. Now, I know I am more than that, I am a mtn gal, hense, mtnwoman! I could live in the trees, in the mts, and never come out. I love other mtn. folk too, theres just something about us! lol My Interests include, woodworking, as I am a chainsaw carver, animals, as I train and groom all species, glass blowing, collecting old cars and even working on them, saddlemaking, raising exotic birds, and horses. Im kinda diverse to say the least. If I dont know how to do something, I learn it. My ranch has all the above found here. I am in heaven, im sure of that. lol Ok, next?? mw |

Terrance used to insist that I get motivated and go w/him to the gym, which isn't my bag at all. I loathe working out no matter how good it is for you. Now I sit back and wonder yrs later was he trying to tell me to stay fit for him??? He even went so far one bday to buy me a Gazelle, which is still brand new in a box and in the garage. LOL! I'm getting ready to give it away for free. I think it had something to do w/our 10 yr age difference and him thinking I was getting old and saggy. Screw him! |

thanks for the nice replies guys... ..Tellnet, I saw your pics of Stonehenge.....I went to school in England for a summer, but I never got there.....left it so I could go back...lol I've never seen Roswell, but they filmed some of the episodes here at the local high school. We are a mecca for all things alien - as you can imagine..... I've been working out most of my life, but when I grew up (well, achieved a certain age out of college - giggle), I had to give up some highs for others (yanno, role model for kiddies and all)....lol.....endorphins became my drug of choice! over achiever - ummm, yup, that would be me - I just have major energy - all positive.....and I have to fix all the ills in education for the kids here in Roswell (like I could really fix this mess we call education in our country) before I get too old and crabby to do it.....lol I'm gonna like this, my new home away from home! You guys are all so nice! |

Note to all - I am not a practicing English teacher when on the net....promise.....lol.....I use the dots too, and my spelling....well, it can be atrocious at times, especially when I am in a hurry ~ lol I do use big words sometimes; that's okay here I am guessing even if I can't spell them - giggle??? The only unexplained experiences we've had here in this house, MW, were not aliens - we are quite sure.....more like poltergeists.....this old house has a wacky history and now that most of the walls are ripped out and replaced, all weird occurences have stopped.... Thanks, Jess! I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone here. Hi Monty Man I love those ................dots.................they come in real handy! |
