cb. Having met you in person (pics around here someplace) I can't figure out why anyone would suggest Botox. As for teeth whitening, I don't recall a need. I remember a radiant smile.

I had a full tummy tuck and I swear by it as painful as it was!! I even had to learn to walk again because you walk different w/all that flab hanging down. I had one of those saggy pouches and I was very insecure about it and so I researched a cosmetic surgeon out in Indianapolis and he did a great job of it. IT COST A WHOPPING 10 GRAND, but it was so worth it because I regained some of my self-confidence back and didn't have that uncomfy feeling of dead hanging skin and jeans no longer left rings around my stomach.

As for the teeth whitening.. I might do this. My sister Talia had porcelain put in her mouth and  her teeth look absolutely gorgeous, but this is way out of ballpark when it comes to the money she spent doing it. Soo I guess I'll have to stick w/partially yellow teeth and maybe give up the coffee and cigs, huh? Heehee

Snappinella -
Yes, I was with my daughter when she had the tummy tuck and it WAS painful.  However, the dr did some minor liposuction on her hips and thighs to "even her out" and she said that was more painful than the tummy tuck.  Regardless, she is so pleased with the results that she says she would do it again if necessary.

Did I forget to mention I asked that the keep the dead skin they removed from my belly so I could see what it looked like?? Yep! They sure did too and it looked like another 7lbs of ass. This is how much fat they removed from my belly. They did lipo on me too and this was a waste of money because all it did was shift itself elsewhere and now I have a lopsided waist!

I looked into it once. It scared the hell out of me! The Sx is 7-9 hrs. long, and it takes a couple of months to get over all the anestesia from your body! headaches to be expected. You have to lay in bed, half sitting up, cause you cant lay all the way down till youre healed. And your back gets even more painful than your Sx was even in the beginning! Slowly, the skin stretches so that you can walk upright again, or lay down totally.
I opted not to, after I heard all that from the doctor!

For what surgery MW? The tummy tuck? Because it does take alot of healing time, but I'm not sure if this is the surgery you're talking about.

The time is pretty close because it took them 6hrs for them to finish w/me and they make you IMMEDIATELY get up and walk which is pain out this world Not labor pain, but very close to it.

lol Chemy!   A smile goes a long way to making a person lovely, don't you think? Like YOURS!

I have a big crooked front tooth that hangs down lower than the other one because at my age the other one has been worn down over the years.  ugh.  I hate it, and it's one of my self conscious things.   Doesn't keep me from smiling BIG all the time though... and I'm one of those where ALL my teeth show when I smile.

It's the ones that are rotten and poor oral hygiene that bothers me the most darlin.  I can understand not being able to afford proper dental care...

There's no excuse for not brushing your teeth and flossing though.

i started looking at people closer, and you can acually tell. cus their forehead between the eye brow is thick...i went to two places. and it was weird how everyone had that thickness. or maybe it was my imagination. i do sometimes have one...LOL

i'm not surprised that there medical problems. it seems like when anyone does anything it can cause harm.

Last nite on the WE channel I watched a new reality series called " SEX CHANGE HOSPITAL". This place is located in Trinidad and I really had a new attitude about ppl who truly felt they were born in the wrong body. The pain they endure to have their sex changed was wayyy too much for me to grasp, but in these 2 particular cases, instant gratification was obtained and these ppl seemed authentically happy about their decisions. Whatever floats your boat I suppose. I guess if some ppl need botox then why in the hell wouldn't someone feel the need to have a vagina instead of  penis huh?
