The doc called me a few days ago, and wanted to see me. I like seeing her, and figured we'd talk about the MRI that my insurance denied me for. Well, it wasnt exactly that. Last july, if you remember, I got a heart scan. A $99 special even! lol The results showed that I had a heart of a 30 yr. old! Well I liked that, a whole lot! But then she went on to tell me, that I need to go see a heart surgeon! It seems that I have the samething that John Ritter died of. I have an Aortic annurism. She said it isnt bad, as far as these things go, but, the heart surgeon might want to do surgery. now isnt that just peachy?! She said I need to keep away from stress! rofl!! mw |

Thats certainly a lesson in abstract notoriety MW. Strange disease/affliction(?)...are you sure there is nothing to be done, short of invasive surgery? whatever happens, we are all behind you ready to help in any way possible. |

ty redi, vm. I think its really so small, that they will just want to regulate it and check on it every so many months. Im not too worried about it, but if Sx is in order, I probably will do it. mw |

a little story I'll share with you a friend of ours, is just over 50 you know he lived a very unhealthy life cocaine, smoking, beef jerky, you know the type anyhoos.........last year his heart failed, it wasnt a heart attack or anything like that, it was diabetes, seems the sugar level didnt agree with the heart this was a very very big awakening for him so, he enlisted another dr, a second opinion, and sure enough he developed diabetes the point of this story, you can be the healthiest or not, if its going to hit you it will so..........go and take care of yourself babe! you have a lot going on for yourself! |

Side's father, Sylvio, had a large abdominal aortic anurysm (sp) ... lived to be 96... died as result of broken hip. |

If you can get sex from your doctors you're a very lucky girl, MW. I asked mine for some several years ago (when I was still cute even!) and was told flat out that it was NOT a service he provided. ...This was after he informed me that the little tightening procedure he'd done to my private parts had to be "tested" within 30 days ...and I'd been single for over a year! I asked if he was offering to do it. No harm in that, right? Then over drinks with a girlfriend, we decided perhaps I could sell my newfound virginity to the highest bidder (just like I'd mentionned as a "make-a-buck" project for others in this group recently). In the end I gave it away for free - just within the warranty deadline (lmao! Actually it was the point at which they could no longer "fix" anything that wasn't satisfactory). How's that for changing the topic?? |

I pretty much even impressed myself with that one. I should have mentionned that I had the procedure after having given birth to a kid with a head the size of Winsconsin. (I was going to say a watermelon, but that didn't do it justice --- went for the next available W word.... anyhow, you get my drift). I'd taken to referring to my vagina as "the 3-car garage", and was pleasantly surprised when I went in for a tubal that the doctor agreed it was "a bit loose" (whilst swishing his whole hand freely around in there) and suggested he fix it (for free) at the same time. I'm only exagerating a teensy bit. lmao Ok now - back to the actual topic please! |
