Very difficult to pick only one! I think maybe the mountain gorillas. They are so innocent and sooo few of them now. |

Do I have to pay the million dollars directly to the animal or is there a middleman who invests the cash to further the species? I have this awful mental image of Pere David's Deer slowly chomping there way through a large bag of dollar bills. |

Right now I'd give it to the endangered Kansas Grizzerbear. |

its a toss up between polar bears (or all predators) and the great whales both losses would have irreversable affects on the food chain |

Any species extinction, brings human kind closer to extinction--even a bug, or a bee. mw |

It would be a toss up for me between the whales or the great apes. Saving the apes would mean helping the earth more in order to give them habitat. I think the earth is going by the wayside a lot faster than the ocean. I'd say the apes, but one million dollars - only a small dent in the problem - a very small dent. |
