Here's the latest pics of the egg...still far from done but I have the white gold on it and the silver face plate made, the white topaz in it and one ruby and have started the yellow gold overlay on the face plate. The last pics are with only the inside LED turned on.

Assuredly, some day, your big break will come... & I'm not meaning as in Humpty Dumpty...  listen:  my lonely bushrat pen friend, sitting in cold, dark Alaskan interior isolation, hand sewing his genuine beaver mitts, for years & years... has suddenly come into the light:  got a real good ( & pretty! ) woman (after 7 or 8 horrible fiascoes) & the Canadian Royal Mounteds just discovered his web site and are asking for quotes on SETS of mitts!!!  ... so, you see?  It will all happen to you, too! He didn't give up and you're certainly not the type to...

Thanks Anna & Ros, yep, they are fishing. I even put very fine fishing line on the poles. The poles are made from real fishing line...the fishing line I used is actually magician's invisible cord...so tiny you can barely see it but it's to scale for the scene. If you are using it while wearing a dark shirt, it can't be seen at all. It's about 50 times finer than a hair. That was a lot of microscope work and most would not notice it unless the light hits it just right but I like putting little surprises like that in all my works...where people suddenly notice things they didn't see before.

That's cool about Bushrat, Starry. I hope he does well. Yes, it's just a matter of time and timing..lol.

Thanks Pammy & JJ...I sure hope so. Just have to get some exposure...I mean other than my Saturday night flasher gig on the corner in Hays.

Thank you Leslie, Witch and Simply. I was working on finishing the gold on the face plate today and getting the new addition to my blog on. I just didn't feel like doing a lot. Been dreaming up the next one though.
