I so can understand these bosses who are on power trips and it's mostly because they have little self-confidence in themselves and also, she just might be worried that you'll be able to take her job over and run it like clockwork. I had a boss at MBO back in 1999 who was 11 yrs younger than me and would flaunt her title all over the place and namely w/me, due to the fact, when she seen my resume she thought I might be over qualified to do the data entry level position I was applying for. Sooo any chance she got to tell me what to do, or check my work, she did it w/an air about her that was to say the very least, unprofessional. Soon after beginning employment w/this medical billing company, I left it to get married and I really can say she was happy to see me leave. I could care less at this point though and was off to start a new domesticated life-style. Come to find out at my wedding, that this woman made $1.00 less than me! LOL! It's no wonder she was insecure about me taking her job over... I might be making a whopping $11 an hr compared to the $10 I was making w/less headaches as well.
Hang in there Peejay and for the love of Mike, don't let her get under your skin. She wants to see you react. You're way better than this!
