Thanks for the opinion, Star. I've been leaning toward the BW, too. There's an old rule of thumb that you should usually photograph natural things in black and white and man-made things in color. The juxtaposition of the man-made pipeline in this wilderness setting makes is tough to decide, but the patterns and form may make black and white the better choice...
