Put 1/2 of bread cubes in bottom of 9x13" baking dish. Mix chicken, celery, onion, and mayonaisse and pour over the bread cubes.
Cover with remaining bread cubes.
Combine eggs, liquids, and salt, (NOT soup), and pour over chicken and bread mixture.
Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
Bake @ 350* for 15 minutes. Pour undiluted soup over the casserole. Bake another 50 minutes.
Sprinkle with the grated cheese, and bake another 10 minutes.
This is a good economical recipe for when you are making do with a "little of this and a little of that".
