1/2 shot espresso 255 gms. caramel ice cream 1 Tbsp caramel syrup 3 oz. milk hazelnut flavored whipped cream coffee grounds In a blender, combine the first 4 ingridients and blend it at medium speed until the mixture is somewhat smooth. then pour into a 16oz glass. Top with whipped cream and coffee grounds. You could also add a bit of caramel syrup for presentation purposes (optional).
- Ice Cube Coffee
Brew coffee & let cool. Fill ice trays with coffee & freeze. (This is a great idea when you make a pot of coffee & have a good amount left over).
- For Iced Coffee:
Fill cup with coffee ice cubes & pour over with freshly brewed coffee. Add milk & sugar to taste.
- For Iced Cappuccino:
Follow above instructions. Replace milk with steamed milk.
- For Dessert Shake:
Place ice cube coffee in blender & add 2 to 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream. Blend ingredients. Serve with whipped cream & chocolate shavings.
- Mexican Coffee
Add a tablespoon of ground cinnamon to a full pot of coffee & brew. Or, add 1 or 2 cinnamon sticks to a cup of freshly brewed coffee & let steep for a couple of minutes. To sweeten, add brown sugar to taste.
- Irish Coffee
Add one shot of Irish Whisky to a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Top with whipped cream & chocolate shavings or sprinkles. For Amaretto or Kahluah Coffee: Follow above directions, replacing Irish whisky with Amaretto or Kahluah. Try adding cinnamon for spice. Quick & Easy Beignets: Use an instant biscuit recipe, or if you like to make them from scratch, follow your own favorite biscuit recipe. Roll out dough & cut in squares. In a skillet, add vegetable oil & heat. Fry dough till it is golden brown & cooked through. Drain beignets well on paper towels. Cover with powdered sugar & serve immediately. Enjoy with a cup of cafe au lait! Cafe Glace In a latte cup or a bowl, pour espresso or strong coffee over large scoops of ice cream. Serve immediately.
