Ok...DM was looking thru the Kmart ad thingy and saw Christmas stuff was 75% off.  He is Jewish so I wondered why he was excited about this.  He hurries me up and we get in the car and drive to Kmart.  He heads straight to the Christmas clearance aisle while I go to the bathroom.
The Kmart bathroom is a 2-seater.  That means in my speak it has two stalls.  Someone was in one stall so I wisely chose the other one.  I go about my bidness, then notice there is not even a square of tissue to be seen.  Oh man what a dilemma.  With the Seinfeld episode flashing thru my mind, I begin rummaging thru my purse knowing, hoping,  praying there would be some sort of tissue-type product in there I could use.  Nothing. Even a gum wrapper would be useful in these battle conditions.  Still with Seifeld going thru my mind, I thought to try to "drip dry" while gathering the courage to ask the lady in the stall next to me for a few squares of hers.
As I sat there silently praying for a paper miracle, the lady next door finished hr bidness.  She washed her hands while I then plotted to run into the newly vacated stall to get some paper from there when she left the room.  Hurry and leave was what I was thinking.
Suddenly she knocks on my door and very sweetly says :" Miss, I noticed no paper in that stall could I get you some?"  In a disguised voice in case I knew her I said yes please, that would be wonderful.  She grabs a huge handfull and sticks it under he dor for me to grab.  I grabbed while thanking her.  Then she left.  As I left the restroom, I looked at all the ladies there and wondered who was my paper angel.
DM?  Well he saw a Christmas lawn ornament that was not the typical deer, moose or polar bear.  He wanted the Christmas Jimmy Giraffe that lights up since giraffes are his fav animal..But that is a story for another day...B.

Oh, i LOVE that Graffe!!!  I saw one at the Kmart here a month ago.  If i'd known they were having a BIIIIIIIIIG sale, i'd have gone down to check and see if the one they had was still there.

A nightmare come true! I shudder to even think about it.....you were very lucky indeed.  Maybe the woman felt bad she didn't warn you before you went in there.

Did DM get the giraffe?

I did get the two little non-moving deer a month ago for $9.99 each.  All i have to do is replace some of the tiny little lites, but the bulbs were on sale too.

Wouldn't it be neat to have 4 or 5 large-scale meerkats in the yard? With, of, course, a couple of pups.  (Zazzle store, please take note.)  They could stay out year round, with scarves for winter, and spring bonnets, and Halloween costumes (around here people put ghost sheets on the pink yard flamingos - pretty cute).
