At The End Of This Week?/STRONG>

The real battle between Seifer and Dante Cross begins. Two men, former allies have now turned into bitter enemies. Two men who know each other very well. For one it’s about the victory. For the other, it’s about revenge, and victory.

Their history for those not in the know, will surely be spoken about as time goes on. So for those of you who are PWT loyalist to the bone and would rather not hear the name of a competitor then you shouldn’t engage in what will become an epic clash. But for those who aren’t as conservative then enjoy what you are going to witness. For while the wrestling company based out of Chicago will get mentioned a lot, at least you can take pride in the fact that their one on one meeting is taking place in Grand Rapids.

Hardcore Hell. A Pay Per View with much history, much history indeed. The staple in Professional Wrestling Today. While not her biggest PPV, certainly a very memorable one. Considered the anniversary PPV in honor of Hardcore Angel.

Since PWT has risen up from the ashes, there has been two previous Hardcore Hell’s. Last year we were treated to a solid show highlighted by Seifer making an appearance backstage with one Christian Michaels, his first in the company for months. What made it significant was it was the first time in history we saw the current King of PWT, Master of the Domain, and God of Wrestling in the same vignette. While the ending was controversial with the way MJ Storm lost his title to NED, it was certainly something that was talked about. That is what you can expect from Hardcore Hell.

The same can be said for the first HH of the new era in Professional Wrestling Today. We witnessed once again the Heavyweight Championship change hands as DVD fell to Damien Collins. But the match of the night had to be the epic TLC match between Seifer and Christian Michaels for the Titanium Championship. In which Seifer was able to walk out of there still champ. Perhaps this is a sign of things to come? Will Seifer be able to walk out of the arena as Titanium Champion once more? Or will history repeat itself like last year where we see the champ retaining? Stay tuned to find out.

The Titanium Championship.

A very respectable championship that has gone under a lot of scrutiny the past few months. Many reigns having not even been a month long with people relinquishing the title left and right during the summer, and most recently the champions losing their title right off the bat in their first defense. From Marcus having the title put on the line last minute when DVD won, to DVD falling immediately the next week, to Georgia willingly jobbing out her title for a little mind game and as some might say, a gift. Now we are left with a champion?Dante Cross?who will either fall into place and lose his title quickly, or will ascend above and restore prestige to the championship.

Either way - The Titanium Championship, and the fans of course, wins. For it would be foolish to say that Dante can’t bring a great deal of prestige to a mid card championship and make it a hard to capture title. For if there is anything Dante excels at, it’s exactly that. On the other hand having Seifer as champion once again would not only raise the prestigeness of it, despite it having changed hands again, but it would continue to prosper. For we all know that there’s a kind of special relationships between Seifer and Title Belts that just seem to mesh so well together. So for a company that was rumored to be going on a hiatus, things are certainly looking up.

The Main Event.

In a shocking, yet not so shocking twist, the Main Event won’t feature the anticipated clash of Christian Michaels and David Van Dam for the Heavyweight Championship. Rather, we will see Seifer and Dante for the Titanium Championship. Shocking because generally the World title is the Main Event. Not so shocking because when it comes to being a successful company, you’ve got to do what’s best for business. In no disrespect to either CM or DVD - Seifer vs. Dante Cross is what’s best for business. It’s the match of the century, the one everyone will be watching. The match that everyone is most anticipating. Most importantly the match that will deliver the most incredible of results. You are going to see some true excellence. Over a year of build up for this very match?it’s no wonder why it has been bumped into Main Event status.

For Dante it’s another way to stroke his own ego. But ego stroking or not, it still is an accomplishment already to be Main Eventing Hardcore Hell. For Seifer it’s another testament of why he won Superstar of the Year. Hardcore Hell marks the eighth PPV PWT has held in 2007 and the seventh that he has Main Evented. Once again further proving that when it comes to Seifer - he is Mr. PPV, there isn’t another star that shines brighter. Thus, casting a shadow over all who oppose him. Especially one named Dante Cross.

You can take that however you want to but when it all comes down to it that’s the truth, plain and simple. Whether it’s here in PWT or back over in BUD. Seifer has always outshined Dante - something that still gets at Dante to this day. Sure, he’ll deny it, he’ll play it off as if it no longer bothers him. But we all know that’s a bold faced lie. If being outshined by Seifer didn’t bother him then he wouldn’t have bothered turning on his friend. It wasn’t even for any storyline either because if it was they would have worked it out before hand like men, away from the cameras, but instead it came as a complete and total surprise. Proof that when it comes to this business, Dante takes things way too seriously. And when you literally breathe something to that extent, it can either make you?or break you?but eventually it breaks everyone. That’s not a shot at those who quote unquote “live the business?but eventually you will come to a time in your career when you can no longer go. It is at that time when you’ll have to find something else to do with your life. It isn’t a negative comment either if you do live the business, for Seifer likes to consider himself doing just that, the only difference is he is able to show excellence and do what he loves without burning bridges of friendship just to satisfy his hunger for power. Nah, Seifer simply takes what he wants, when he wants, how he wants without trying to bury people in the process.

The funniest thing about that is that Dante and Seifer have two different outlooks on how Seifer does business. Dante will go on a rant that Seifer is bad for business, that he only cares about himself and that he’s constantly trying to keep all others from the spotlight. Hell he could even use Seifer’s statements last week as evidence, but yet so can Seifer to defend himself. All of those ideas are simply coming from a man who realizes he’ll never reach the plateau that Seifer is at so he must down the man at every turn he gets - even if he looks ridiculous doing so. His entire hope is that he won’t come across an opponent who will totally make a mockery of him. When he does?well, we’ll get into that later. Unfortunately for Dante the time to face the music has come up and despite what outsiders may have thought, it’s music Dante is looking forward to?or rather music his ego is looking forward to.

Seifer’s outlook on the other hand differs for he knows the truth. There isn’t a gat damn soul on this planet who can deny that Seifer is good for business. The mere fact that he can sell out arenas all over the world and sell merchandise like crazy is a testament to that fact. People want to see Seifer, they want to see him shine, and even still, he stays humble. Sure, he’s got a freaking huge ego, but that’s all part of the character. It’s that larger than life persona that they want to eat on up. The reality is Seifer truly is that big. Maybe not his ego persae away from wrestling, but the things he’s done away from this business certainly attribute to that. Such as businesses or a city, etc?etc?Seifer is an insane genius in his own right. One who always knows what he’s doing.

Sure, Seifer loves gold and is what Bobby Johnson innovatively called a “titleholic? But is that such a bad thing? It’s not as if Seifer just sits on a reign and does nothing?nah, he is willing to fight for it and has proven that on more than one occasion. Of course his opponent is looking good here in PWT so far because he’s defending his championship right off the bat - which is where Seifer got lucky by his opponent winning a title before coming into their match.

Or rather, being suckered into the title. To be quite frank, the plan wasn’t for any championships to be on the line. But the way it turned out was Dante had a title shot and he failed. Rather than beat the two men again, Georgia, someone who Dante has an odd obsession with, thought it’d be more fun to toy with his mind and thus when Seifer becomes the new Titanium Champion their plan will have worked its magic. Dante’s just mad he got outsmarted on the night that was supposed to be his crowning moment.

Yet as we all know, the Titanium Championship is merely a bonus prize. The real prize is a tossup between the back and forth we will see in the coming days all the way to the match itself. People want blood and by God they will get blood. For the moment you’ve all been waiting for is finally upon you.

SEIFER
vs.
DANTE CROSS

IT’S ON!

One Shall Stand. One Shall Fall!
