Conflict 59: Graveyard Games nears. The Main Event for the evening is set. Deus versus Seifer. One on one in an Escape from Hell Cage match. The fans knew the moment that match was booked that it was going to be one for the record books. Because let’s face it, they are two of the best in the business today. Each with their own unique style and flare, each with their own ways of winning and each with a desire to be the best.

For Deus he wants to climb back to the mountain top. To ensure that though he was knocked out of the FWA World Tournament earlier, that he still had more than enough fight in him to come out and challenge the champion when it was all said and done. Using Seifer was a way to make this all the more easier.

For Seifer he simply wants to start climbing the mountain. His second match in FWA and he wanted to make that impact. Now he had that chance. Now he had someone who would give him the fight of his life and keep coming back for more. He had someone who could potentially beat him and therefore someone who would force him to raise his game a few levels.

Oh yeah, this is definitely worthy of being the Main Event. Semi-PPV or not, Seifer and Deus were sure to have an off the wall match. This is still only the beginning ladies and gentlemen.

The Era of Seifer has truly arrived.

The scene opens up on the eve of Graveyard Games. From the roof of the FWA arena Seifer observes all of the fans outside in the parking lot getting excited for tonight. Conflict wasn’t for another couple of hours, but they seemed pumped for it. Seifer looks down at the coffee in his hands as he leans backs up and away from the edge.

He was clean now and smelt delicious, or at least that’s what his girl told him. He was dressed in a dark pair of Nautica jeans and a gray hooded Everlast sweatshirt on this chilly night. The hood however is off as his hair is hanging freely over his back.

“Don’t get the wrong impression. It’s not as if I’m attempting to become some sort of ‘mystic?character, I’m simply doing what I want to do.?/FONT>

He looks around the large empty rooftop, glancing up at the stars and then back down again.

“I had a little reflecting I needed to do. Earlier you saw me?I looked like I had spent a week in the sewers. Well, it was much worse than that. Or maybe it was better??He ponders. “Sometimes I’m not so sure. I love adventure, and I love a challenge. That’s where I’ve been the past couple of days for those wondering. That’s why it has taken so long to say anything about this match. A match I’ve been looking forward to since it was booked. So to Deus, I apologize. Let’s just say that I’ve been in quite the situation the past couple of days. A challenge of epic proportions one might say, but one that I was more than up to the challenge to. A shame too as I felt that it ended early. I knew it was time to go, time to leave that?place?but part of me didn’t want to leave. Part of me wanted to continue on, see how far I could go, and see how long I could last until I perished.?/FONT>

He waves a hand into the air dismissively.

“Don’t mind me, I’m just curious as to what might have happened. Nonetheless I notice that you too haven’t been heard from much. I guess it’s understandable though, you’ve been going through the death of a loved one, haven’t you??/FONT>

Seifer just shakes his head.

“Forgive my bluntness Deus, but that’s something I just don’t buy. Perhaps its because I’ve been around far too many people who have ‘died?in the wrestling business only to come back a little later. If you’ve ever been up to Chicago you know exactly what I’m talking about. Though going by what I believe then, it bodes well for you. If I am judging anything correctly from the way you seem to be, it would be that I don’t think you believe her to be dead either. Surely you must have something to fight for and to keep you going. The hope that she’s still around, well that’d be something, wouldn’t it? I mean if her death had been a straight up closure I’m sure things would be different, but there is too much mystery surrounding it.?/FONT>

Another shake of the head, Seifer walks over to a vent and leans up against it, sliding down until he’s sitting down. His legs are close to his body.

“If it’s any consolation though, I do hope she’s alive. I’m not that vengeful of a man and would hate if something were to happen to mine, so good luck getting to the bottom of it all. Which brings me to the aforementioned tag team match you had way back when with Gee. Yes, I did open my mouth because your girl sought fit to mention how she’d never have someone or that if she did he’d have to be ignorant or something to that extent, so naturally I was going to come in and set the record straight. No harm, no foul. You however, don’t really need to do any as you’ve clearly heard of me. So have a lot of people as you may have noticed the other week when Xtreme flat out said “I’m fucked.”?/FONT>

He grins, it was kind of cool to get that reaction.

“Though as much as my name as been talked about, as much cheering and merchandising and all this hype that has been going on, barely any of it has come from me. Sure, the hype Mystery promos leading to my debut talked of this huge star ?but it was the truth. However you don’t see me coming out and talking about how I deserve this and that because of what I’ve done elsewhere. That’s not the way I do business. I’ve always had that old school mentality in that it doesn’t matter what you’ve done elsewhere, it’s what you’ve done here. Exactly why I never even attempted to get into the FWA World tournament. It’s not right and I do intend on earning my stripes here. Though as you brought up, I did talk about the Television Championship. It’s far different than the World title and I feel that me as TV Champ would be only a plus for this company. The current champ seems to have waaay too much on her plate and while I do like to work my way up the ladder, I also don’t like to wait for the ball to be handed to me. I’m not a running back, I see myself more as a cornerback and occasional wide receive. I take what I want when I see an opportune moment and I run with it.?/FONT>

Another wave of the hand as he brings his body back up.

“Sorry, American football reference. Enough about that because while the TV title is the future, you are the present. The present in which I’m looking much forward to. I’ve watched you for quite some time Deus and I know what you can bring to the table. While I may not have had the ‘traditional?training this week, I feel I’m up for the task. I know that you’ve been told to take it lightly and for that I think you should go talk to Alex about because facing Seifer??/FONT>

He shakes his head and can’t help but laugh.

“Well, I don’t think I need to boast about how that’s not taking it lightly. As for the actual Escape from Hell Cage match we’re in? I haven’t a clue what it is either outside of the obvious. But whatever this match entails, I’ll be ready. Because on this occasion I’m playing offense and have been giving the ball, alongside you. It’s our job to go out there and hold it down for the FWA and put on a classic showing. You’ve got incredible ability and I know that no matter the pain you’re in, your desire to compete at a high level far outweighs it. You’ll fight and get chewed out by the doctors later. Just know that while you want this match to continue your flourishing FWA legacy, I want it that much more.?/FONT>

“While you vow to go above and beyond what it takes, I will go above and beyond what you will deliver. It’s nothing personal, it’s nothing against you. It’s just that I’m not about to lose so soon in my career here. It’s going to be a long ride and I’ve no intention on letting anyone slow me down. If that means that I have to battle through the crux of my dismay and fight the odds that you’ve stacked against me to achieve my victory—then I will do just that. Throw your catch phrase at me all you want but at the end of the night you too will experience the madness.?/FONT>

Seifer smiles now, pulling the hood over his head as he makes his way towards the exit.

“That’s not even a catch phrase either, it’s my own reality. My reality is the steel cage. So just the thought of it being in the name?entices me. Cage matches of any kind happen to be what I enjoy most, so Deus?welcome to my domain. Hope you can survive.?/FONT>

With that the scene seizzles out as Seifer makes his way back into the arena.

Escape from Hell Cage?Seifer. Deus.

Two Enter?One Leaves.

 Let The [Graveyard] Games Begin!

OOC: My hand hurts now lol, just wanted to get up a proper promo. Maybe next time stuff won't come up so we both have more time to have fun.
