Welcome to FWA.

Welcome to Die Hard Wrestling.

Welcome to the re-birth of Attitude.

It is time, for another Seiferism, this one however will be used only for a short amount of time. The birth of Seifitude. Seifitude had spawned one day when Seifer was thinking of his Attitude Championship and what he was going to do to fuel his second defense of that title. It was then that he thought up of combining his name with it, like he has done on many other occasions, seiftastic and seication comes to mind immediately. However it was about a minute later that Seifer realized it had already been done before, combining ones name with attitude and that was by Matt Hardy. Or perhaps just by the back office boys who came up with the gimmick of Mattitude for him; who knows, who cares. So yes, Seifer isn’t the first one to be doing this, it is noted. However he is a much more worthy candidate to be using Seifitude, that we know.

Why?

Because the thought of having Seifer in one corner and Superstar Joe in the other corner of a wrestling ring ready for one on one competition is enough to make any wrestling enthusiast get a little frosty at the mouth just waiting for that opening bell to ring. It always takes two to tango and these are two top notch superstars who have never before fought. If you know your recent wrestling history then you are even more excited about this match.

The year is 2007. Two companies have been paving the way wrestling is supposed to be for at least the past couple years. Fans Wrestling Alliance of course the hot new company with a year or so under its belt and Professional Wrestling Today, a little under two years into its second run, a company with history dating back to the turn of the millennium. 2007 brought about a solid year for both companies, but it wasn’t until the Spring and Summer did everything really take off, it wasn’t until then did two champions climb up the mountain and raise the bar for wrestling itself.

In FWA, that champion was Superstar Joe. Joe took the title off of a very good champion in Georgia James in a one on one bout and would go on to reign for around four glorious months, defeating challengers when they opposed him and even took after Seifer in issuing an open challenge to anyone who wanted some. He was eventually dethroned like all great fighters are, but as we see today, Superstar Joe is back and ready to capture more championship gold. Perhaps a potential Attitude reign will be just what Joe needs to re-capture that spotlight.

In PWT, that champion was Seifer. Seif took the title off a very good champion in Bobby Johnson in a six person elimination chamber with some of PWT’s best and would go on to reign for around five glorious months, defeating challengers left and right. It was during one summer month that Seifer did something that would land him a spot in the PWT Choice Awards as the Most Memorable Moment when he would issue a challenge for his World Championship to anyone who dared accept. He made sure people saw it, and not just those who checked PWT, and sure enough, it caught on. He received challengers of course from PWT, but from other companies such as BUD, OCW, and even FWA as well. Seifer would later go on to be dethroned like all great fighters are, but as we see today, Seifer is back on top and ready to continue on with his Attitude Championship reign with a bi-goal of giving the title as much credibility as he can and when he’s finished with it, heading right for the World Championship.

Now these two clash for the first time. It’s funny, because though Grace Taylor was the FWAer who accepted Seifer’s challenge, Superstar Joe was rumored to have considered it and had it not been for time constraints, he would have been apart of the epic match. Likewise, when Joe issued his similar challenge Seifer thought long and hard on coming into FWA and taking part, but due to time constraints he was unable to.

Twice the wrestling world could have seen Seifer and Superstar Joe pitted against each other and it didn’t happen. Now however, they get to see it. The best part about these two guys is that they aren’t your new age dramatic wrestlers who need months of story lining and angle twists and turns to draw you in, get you excited and put on a good match. Nah.

All they need is sheer star power, the will and determination to win, the craving of championship gold and the desire to be better than their opponent. Welcome to old school wrestling at its finest. Are you ready to watch the Attitude Championship being put on the line as Seifer defends against Superstar Joe at Legends Reborn?

Seifer has become one of the main stay staples since FWA’s rebirth, and now at Legends Reborn he prepares to spread Die Hard Attitude, with his own twist, across the nation.

Defiance, Ohio.

The shot opens up not on the old FWA arena but on a house that has a For Sale sign on the front lawn. It’s a pretty large house with a gate and beyond it a nice lawn leaving us to believe that the backyard is even more spectacular, especially once Seifer got there. On one of the stone pillars holding up the over hang is a wooden sign that reads ‘Casa Dee Gee Jay 3?obviously informing us that it’s owned by one Georgia James and isn’t the first one she currently owns. The doors open and Seifer steps through the doorframe and down the three steps dressed in jeans and a black Die Hard Wrestling long sleeve.

“Welcome, to a place I used to live. We’re here in sunny yet chilly Defiance, Ohio. Fans watching this may remember this place as, well as the former HQ of FWA. Of course where I am right now is the house that is probably soon to be sold of Georgia James. What relevance does that have? Well when I came to FWA I had been dating said woman for months on end and we decided to move in together rather than me get my own place. Easier and to be honest, I never really liked Ohio anyways. I’m the King of Miami gat dammit, what the hell is in Ohio that I’d care about besides FWA? Not much. Needless to say I was glad FWA not only decided to start touring, but made the decision to relocate.?/FONT>

Seifer locks the door, still having had the key and makes his way over to the front, locking the gate as well and parked right in front, not even in the driveway, is his H2. He offers us inside and the camera crew gets in, keeping the camera more or less on Seifer as they do so. Seifer jumps in on the other side and drives away.

“I’ll admit though that in my few months with this company, I’d grown accustomed to the small town that is Defiance. You know, live in a place long enough, even if I was always traveling around as is the case with my multiple jobs in order to take care of my businesses, and you get used to it. The people enjoyed having a wrestling promotion right in their backyard and often times after the shows we’d even get to meet with them, sign a few autographs and of course see them at The Café. When you came back to Defiance from being away for a week, sometimes two, you always got that warm welcome, even if the temperature outside was anything but. Yet as with the case of almost every successful small time promotion, bigger and better opportunities come along and it’s time to make that leap to touring and with the big names we currently house as well as the more main stream popularity FWA is getting, it was time to relocate to a much more convenient location. Can’t exactly fly international from Defiance if you know what I’m saying.?/FONT>

Seifer turns a couple more corners, not really giving the fans much, leaving them to wonder what Seifer’s getting at in all of this. Finally he pulls into a parking lot and stops, ahead of us is the arena that FWA used to wrestle in.

“And there she is, the arena. There have been many battles waged in that very arena, inside a ring that has been covered with blood, sweat and tears, while a couple thousand of screaming fans were being entertained. For me, that was where it all began and I’m glad that I got to come into FWA when wrestling in Defiance was still the norm. You may be wondering what this is all about, why I’m bringing you to a town of old now when we’re over halfway from where we’ll be this weekend. The reason is simple. See my shirt??/FONT>

Cameras pan down it.

“That’s what FWA is about - Die Hard Wrestling. It began here but it’s spreading. Just like Seifer when I entered into FWA. I made myself some goals and thus far, I’m doing a damn good job at accomplishing them. Some may have taken a bit longer due to a stubborn champion not wanting to face the music of eventual defeat, but in the end I still got to her and,?he reaches over and pulls the Attitude Championship from underneath the middle section, “I got this. Which brings me to why we’re here in Ohio. Defiance marks the beginning of not only FWA, but also Seifer in FWA. It was way back around the 10th, give or take a couple weeks edition of Conflict that I was first seen, granted it was nothing big but rumor has it that last segment with Isabella Taylor sent ratings through the roof! So simple, yet so effective. From there I only appeared two more times, one was kicking in Drew Stevenson’s face with a Blood Spiller in a match he had with Cross, significant as it was the first time I’d ever used a spur on my boot. The other was when I Blood Spiller’d the holy hell out of Raiden and along with Georgia gave him a beat down that eventually sent him packing. The next time, was of course when I came into FWA to wrestle actively. Gave myself a little mystery hype and bam, it was time to come in and get the ball rolling. I said it from day one that the new era had begun that I would be one of the ones leading FWA in this new era, and judging by how things have gone for the past few months, I think I have helped a great deal in FWA’s success. Of course, it hasn’t been just me, but a myriad of stars who compete and work their asses off day in and day out.

“One of those men, is my opponent this weekend, I’ll get to him in just a second. Even though I grew tired of waiting for my eventual TV title shot, I got it around the perfect time as we were just hitting the road. What better way to promote FWA than with the TV Championship to use as a prop? People know that I am just as good without a championship and that when it comes to putting over a company, I can do so with the best of them, but when it’s one of your champions doing it it always sells that much better. Then it got time to shake things up. Time to take things to a new level and bring back the Attitude title. If we’re going to be promoting this Die Hard wrestling, we damn sure can’t be going about it in a lackadaisical way people. We’ve got to be fierce about it, we’ve got to let our competitors know that FWA means business. From W2K to BUD to OCW and yes, even to PWT. Die Hard wrestling cannot just be about pure wrestling, where’s the fun in that? I’ll admit, I love going into the ring and wrestling for a solid hour to see who the better man is?but I also love showing a bit of a sadistic side and spilling as much of my opponents blood as possible.?/FONT>

Seifer gets out of the car now, a grin on his face. The crew follows and catches Seifer leaning up against the hummer.

“So maybe I’m not your typical ‘old school?and don’t quite fit into the ‘new school? I’m perfectly fine dancing the line between the two because putting a label on me brings you to a quick downfall. Many have tried and I’ve proven them all wrong when they attempt to label me as something because like the great Rowdy Roddy Piper once said, ‘Just when you think you know the answers, I change the questions.?It’s doing that that enables me to stay ahead of the game, at all times possible. It’s doing that that enables me to keep staying fresh and up to date without allowing myself to relieve any glory days. Believe me, I can talk like I’ve got the Energizer bunny in me if I wanted to and I could spend it all on how great I am or what I’ve done, but in the here and now, none of that makes any difference. I especially know this because Superstar Joe too has accomplished many great things, I know a little of what he’s done in BWA and I know even more of what hes done here in FWA, so for me to go that route thinking he’d be impressed, would be ignorant. Besides, no one really cares, this is a day and age where it’s not about what you did for me, but what you can do for me now. I gotta tell you, while it’d be nice to fall back on my name for some victories and titles and all that, I still enjoy going out there as an under dog and coming out with the win - it’s a great feeling. Now, I’m not one to paint myself as that and looking at this match from an outsiders point of view?even though Joe has a lot more history and success in FWA than I have, I’m not so sure I’d paint him as a very strong favorite either. That’s what is going to make this match so awesome is that you really don’t know who is looking better heading into this thing because we’ve both had success and we’ve both had recent success.?/FONT>

Seifer taps his shirt and then looks again at the arena.

“All I know is that I’m the one with the most to lose simply because I’m the title holder and it’s my title that’s on the line. Last week Supes played his ref card to get into my match with Georgia, and rightfully so, he wanted to get a good look at us. He let us do as we pleased and called it down the middle, to be honest I was expecting that. I didn’t think that Joe would try and screw me when he wants this match like I do. I certainly didn’t think he’d try to mess with me because he knows that it would have been futile as trying to cost me a match isn’t going to do much to my psyche. One of those ‘been there, seen that tried?sort of deals, feel me? No it was merely an observation but you know, I am willing to give him that little advantage because I think in the end it’s small enough to not have any affect on the outcome. Big difference in watching how someone operates first hand and actually being the one being operated against. Big difference in watching on tape and actually being in the ring with. Though, I think I've got something nearly as close as it gets to having been in the ring with him.?He grins, ?/FONT>It’s a little thing like that in addition to the work I’ve already done and am continuing to do that I feel will propel me to a victory.?/FONT>

He holds up a hand, preventing any comments you know would be coming.

“That’s not to say I’ve simply ‘got this in the bag? that’d be foolish. Let’s just say that this isn’t my first rodeo and I am more than looking forward to it. For me, this match is big, it’s huge. Safe to say it’s my biggest match since coming into FWA. Yes, facing Deus was big, but there was nothing on the line, it was merely a test of will and physical violence in a crazy match. Facing Georgia was big, but I’ve been down that road before and this time I knew her damn well. This match however, is a first and most importantly it’s someone I don’t know well and I’m someone he doesn’t know well. Like I said, tapes and voices of others can get you to a certain plateau but you’re going to get farthest with your own experiences.?/FONT>

Seifer opens the door again and gets out the Attitude title, he shuts it and walks back over to the hood, leaning up against it as the cameras shoot up, catching the arena in the background and title slung over his shoulder.

“I am the FWA Attitude Champion and this week I get the chance to face one of the best this company has ever seen. For me, that’s a damn honor. You can bet your ass that I’m going to do whatever it takes to make sure I walk away with my gold. I may have more to lose, but I also believe I’ve got more to gain. I’ve wanted this match to happen, and I damn sure believe that I want to win it more. Of course, Joe will have a different opinion and that’s why we play this game, that’s why we love it.

“Defiance, Ohio is where it all began for me and FWA, but it isn’t where it ends, not by a long shot. So come with your champion as I continue my journey to start the spread of Die Hard Seifitude across this great nation.?/FONT>

The scene promptly fades to black. Seifer puts the belt back in the Hummer and thanks the crew, it isn’t long before he’s back in the H2 and heading off to the airport to embark on his next destination.
