Guess whose baaaaack!!

After a solid year away from active competition in Wrestling 2000 one of W2K’s Greats has returned. It appears as if he came back just in the nick of time too for now it appears as if W2K’s owner has seemingly gone missing in action. Has he? Or has he just faded to working behind the scenes only. Well seeing as he hasn’t been seen backstage either, I would guess it’s the first one unless ole Ned doesn’t want the superstars to know he’s around and booking the shows, though the board could very well be doing that as well.

So instead of going on the usual talk promo, how about we keep it short, plan and simple and allow Seifer to do the talking and give us a little history lesson if you will.

Scene opens up in Stoner Park, Wilson park actually but dubbed ‘Stoner?by Cross. That’s where Seifer is at the moment, sitting on a bench as the cameras fade in.

“Looks as if W2K has entered yet another form of anarchy, this time, a real one. The owner has gone MIA and yet the last time you saw me I was walking back up that ramp at Anarchy a man without a W2K contract. Yet here I am, shortly after NED disappeared, with a contract and a match on RAGE to prove it. It’s amazing what can happen at the drop of a dime. One minute I’m not wrestling in Anarchy because I still don’t have a contract, the next we win in court and I secure myself a late entry into the Anarchy Rumble fighting for just a contract and yet the very next day NED makes his return having found a way to acquire one hundred percent ownership, pushes back Anarchy after making a deal to get back on the MSN network and low and behold, I’m fighting for the W2K Championship as well.?/FONT>

A smirk plays on Seifer’s face, it was great thinking about it.

“So I made up for lost time, but it appears as if some people were a bit envious at my surge of promos. But that’s fine. I’m not bothered by envious people who are afraid I’m going to steal their spotlight. I said I’d give him a pass and so I did, until he comes at me again or gets in my way of achieving something, it’s cool. But as I was saying, it was quite a week for we certainly got people talking, is NED and Seifer in cohorts together?! Could it be?!?! It was great while it lasted, I ran with it, he did too. Yet as you can see in Anarchy there was no secret plan or anything like that. Come on if you truly believed I’d side with NED just to win the W2K Championship you must be crazy!?/FONT>

“I came into Anarchy and dominated, I did well but I’m not out here bragging about it. I’m not out here saying I eliminated this many people and deserve this and that. Nah not at all. See while my opponent mentioned it as if it matters, I just shrugged it off. Maybe had I received my contract then and there or already had one I’d go on record claiming to be the real Franchise of W2K. But needless to say I was disappointed. Eliminated by a cheater, that’s just wonderful!?/FONT>

Seifer leans back into the bench and relaxes.

“Though Jake, I’m not even mad about it. Like the late, great Eddie Guerrero said, “If you’re not cheating, you’re not trying.?You threw me out, good for you. I’d of done the same if I got the chance to. Point is, I didn’t bother coming into the arena the next night or doing anything and I didn’t have to. I decided to head back home and just take it easy for a few days. It was fun, but I’ll admit I had to decide if coming back to W2K was even worth it.?/FONT>

He ponders, but for a moment too long and with a slight smirk on his face.

“Ah hell who am I kidding. You heard Nic, he said all I had to do was come to his office and we’d work up everything. Though I decided to wait a little bit, kind of reflect on the situation I guess. Anyways I came back into the arena a few times and met with Dangerously and discussed contract deals and as you saw on RAGE when I walked out of his office, it was a done deal. Signed the final paperwork and then they sent me my copy. Luckily I got on the ball with it or else I may not have had a chance?or would I have had a chance anyways??/FONT>

A twinkle in Seifer’s eyes, does he know something we don’t?

“Come on, no one ever thought of it? Everyone’s so focused on the inmates running the asylum. Free reign in the hallways, can do whatever the hell you want to. People like Lesmond trying in vain to make everyone believe he has power. If anything I’d say the power is going to their heads. No one has even taken the time to analyze the situation. Who saw NED before he last was seen backstage? Moi. All you now know is that my contract was finalized?but was that it? Who knows. Maybe we were or still are in cohorts, maybe another deal was made. Maybe I am the actual owner after we signed that deal. Ya just never know.?/FONT>

Seifer shrugs, “All those questions may be answered at a later date. But for now, I switch the focus to RAGE. To my match against the reigning W2K Championess Isabella Taylor. The very woman whom I indirectly eliminated from Anarchy. Kind of like bad luck huh Izzy? Last year if I recall someone indirectly eliminated you. Then again I share that same bad luck as it’s been suplexes each time I went out. Though that doesn’t matter, both of us lasted near the end in the past two Anarchies. Hell, if I hadn’t of left W2K who knows what could have happened. Cause to say the chemistry wasn’t ‘interesting?would be a lie. Despite the history others have that kind of link us, you do have talent.?/FONT>

He pauses for a moment.

“But before I continue on that, let me give you all that history lesson. When I first came into W2K I teamed up with my buddy Cross and soon after Ryan Cain as well. We were The Syndicate. Anyways, I always had some tension with Ryan, especially after a few predetermined matches but that’s in the past, though I didn’t say anything and even gave him my half of the W2K Tag Titles. Cross and I were tight and thus I didn’t care. Though I did focus more on my singles career and it really flourished.?/FONT>

“Speaking of which, I remember you at one point a few weeks or so ago Isabella had mentioned beating a lot of the past W2K Champions. Well I have too. I guess that just makes our match all the more interesting. Anyways, I was on a roll heading into Anarchy which as we all now know was halted when I was in the ring with the last three guys, all of whom I’d beaten in the past month. Okay well you know the story from there, I came back yeah yeah no need to go into detail and repeat it again. But I noticed you and gave you your props, took to you as a legit threat in that ring. I’m not one of those guys whose going to underestimate someone because they’re a woman. I’m not stupid. Real recognized real, yet at the same time when I returned things were almost weird. Not that we ever associated but my friends knew you all too well. Especially Cross because you later became Cain’s girl. Then of course the hatred grew with Jake and you, a lot of stemming from the Rookie of the Year award, I think. Plus to top it all off my girl had come into the federation and was making waves, on her path to fight you for the championess. Of course that was months ago?yet here we are again and almost the same situation. Only now, I get to fight you. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to this. Though you haven’t been heard of really since Rebecca got the better of you last week. But if you do indeed decide to cut a promo, don’t be surprised in the tone of my voice or the direction I seem to be heading.?/FONT>

He shakes his head no.

“You don’t know me very well but you’ll learn that I do things ‘The Seifer Way? Which basically is the right way only better. What I’m saying is simply this. Isabella, I respect your talent and what you can do in the ring when you’re on. To me I don’t care which one of my friends hates you or think you suck, my opinions won’t change. Though that doesn’t mean that I won’t ‘disappoint?you as you said during Anarchy with some of the things I say or do. It’s who I am, it’s me having fun. So if you’re disappointed that I can go from telling you I respect you to mocking you, it’s your own fault.?/FONT>

Seifer stands up, stretching his back as he begins to slowly walk down the sidewalk.

“This Monday Night on RAGE, you and I will go one on one. I’d say it would steal the show but I do think Dante and Les are going to be putting on a killer show, but ya never know. For W2K and probably even you it’s just another match, but for me?this is something special. For me, this is my chance once again to let W2K know that Seifer is indeed here, to show I haven’t lost a step. I’m going up against one of W2K’s best and I’m doing it in my first official match in over a year. Damn, that feels great. This is my return match and Izzy, there’s no way I’m letting you beat me on my return. Well, I wouldn’t let you beat me anytime but especially not on the RAGE that shall begin my road to everlasting glory. I look forward to Monday Night Isabella. I hope your ready.?/FONT>

Seifer continues to walk down the sidewalk as the scene fades.

So there you have it. The long awaited return of Seifer to active competition in W2K is over. Nothing real seiftastic here but this is only the beginning.

Just a few short hours will mark the official return of Seifer into the world of Wrestling 2000. One would have thought that in this time of chaos and anarchy here that W2K would be in near shambles, and yet more and more things were happening. There was no real owner that we know of, all we’re left to believe is that NED is still the owner just doing business away from W2K. Unless you want to believe Lesmond. Yet as each day passes W2K continues to get more and more interesting, people attempting an invasion, more battle shots being heard, people scurrying around in hopes of getting themselves in title contention at Palooza. Yet some people are focused on other things, like making a grand entrance on his return match. And what a return it was going to be.

The Transcendent versus The Goddess.

Time is of the essence at the moment so without further adieu.

RAGE 108 is nearing as most of the W2K superstars have begun to file into the building for the evenings show. Or so we hope most of them have showed up seeing as how there’s no owners backstage to make sure things run smoothly, people can show up for late and nothing would happen, though we would hope they’d have a little more dedication than that. One man has that dedication for he’s been here for quite a few hours handling?‘things?

That’s where the scene opens up. In the gym area of the W2K arena the doors are pushed open as Seifer steps out. He’s wearing a gray Everlast cut sleeve t-shirt and a pair of black shorts and tennis shoes. A towel is thrown over his shoulder as his face still looks a little bit red. His shirt is drenched in swear as Seifer makes his way around the corner. As the cameras zoom in a little.

“I knew I could count on you to cut a promo Izzy, despite the NLS jokes about you, though mostly Ryan Cain being ‘no shows?for those couple weeks a few weeks ago, I figured that it was business that kept you from cutting a promo here and there. I can relate though, I may not be a real lawyer, though if I was I’d of beaten Jerm quicker, but I myself am a businessman. I’ve had to deal with quite a lot but I’ll spare you examples of details, I just know how it is.?/FONT>

He smirks, as he steps around the corner.

“Reason I decided to start off that way is because you’re one of the only who actually picked up on the hints I dropped, so needless to say I was glad someone finally did. A couple others have but it wasn’t until I was more verbal about it. Now while I do appreciate all the speculation about if I’m the owner or not,?He puts his hand up, “Don’t bother. Because I already mentioned once before that if that is indeed the case, I’m not going to flaunt it. I’ll do what I do best and get on with business. Handle the important behind the scenes thing that an owner needs to do. Not every owner has to be in front of the camera and on the shows, hell sometimes they don’t even book the cards but leaves that to a board where he drops his own opinion. Whatever the case is. So whether that is me, or if it’s still NED or whatever, it really won’t have anything to do with our match. It’s not something I hinted at to get people to go easier on me or to draw attention. I merely hinted at it because I do enjoy some controversy and things that get people talking. It’s working thus far and I’ve done it in a more tactful way then others who have just flat out said they held shares. Though as far as the W2K Championship thing back at Anarchy and being in cahoots with Nic. If you’ll notice it was actually he who mentioned it first. I simply ran with it to add some interest. None of it was actually meant to provide any diversions, I can assure you of that. You even mentioned it’s not something a man like me would do, it’s just not my style. I want you at your best and completely focused. So push all the thoughts of me maybe possibly owning the company aside. Though I will say one thing on that. You had mentioned getting people on finding Nic’s whereabouts. Maybe instead of going out and trying to find him, or looking for several of his contracts you should venture no further than my office- locker room, sorry. Maybe you should question me, I just might have that information.?/FONT>

He gives a slight wink as he whipes his face again.

“Then again if I know odds are I was sworn to secrecy. Who knows, ask me and we’ll see what happens.?/FONT>

Seifer laughs slightly; he loved leaving things in suspense.

“Since I slipped on the office mention, I’ll mention it just once more. Could have been on purpose, could have been a real slip. Either way, you’ll have to settle with the satisfaction of beating on me in that ring as me. Because even If I was your boss, you wouldn’t find out between now and match time. Though as I said I’m not even bothered by that. As far as I am concerned and the rest of W2K can be concerned for now, I’m merely an active superstar on the W2K roster. So let’s just leave it at that shall we? I am most looking forward to facing you tonight Isabella. I do indeed know what you’re capable of, I know of the people you have defeated, I know you’re the reigning Championess, the Goddess of Wrestling who defeated would be The Franchise of W2K to gain that crown. Why else do you think I’m so looking forward to my return? I’m going against one of W2K’s greatest talents. One of the few that is still around since I was here last. That along with the fact that it is my return and I don’t want to win. I know you’ve got that killer drive to defeat me though, that’s why I think it’ll be an excellent match. Hell I’m not even worried about tossing insults in your direction and commenting on your loss last week against Bex. Nope instead I’ll head back to my locker room, shower up and change and get ready for our match later on tonight. So since you were gracious enough to wish me luck I don’t need for I’ve prepared enough, I’ll wish you luck all the same.?/FONT>

He turns and opens his locker room door and tosses the towel in but then steps back outside for one moment.

“Oh and I think it’s time to transcend the goddess.?/FONT>

Seifer gives off another wink as he heads inside his locker room as the scene fades out.
