I had the Number One billboard spot
Niggas stepped on my fingers and I climb right back to the top
I’m Hulk, I’m Flair, I’m Austin, I’m Rock
This ain’t shit but a warning till the ref calls for the bell.

Seifer is in the I R X. But is anyone really that surprised? He’s gone into companies before, sometimes with no connections what so ever just to keep himself at the top of his game. He’s gone into companies before for the soul purpose of facing someone. He’s gone into companies before, like IRX, when he knew people. But you can toss down the names of Jake, Sean, Cross all you want but if you’ve noticed, Seifer didn’t come here with them. They had been here before, Seifer only made a couple requested appearances.

Seifer came here on his own. To settle a little score he has. Of course he could have, and would have preferred to just come out and announce what was going down. But like every smart promoter, they wanted to promote his debut. Because when given the chance to sign such a big star like Seifer, you’d be foolish not to hype up the debut in hopes to generate some more interest for your company. Everyone does that.

But now he’s here. The former WCW Champion, former NWA Champion, is in the IRX. Looking for retribution?but beyond that is still in the air. One thing is for sure is that when Seifer sets his eyes on something, he doesn’t dilly dally around, he just does it.

One thing we need to get to though is just how all of this came about.

The scene opens up inside of a small office like room, with the focus of the camera being on a black leather recliner and a coffee table in front of it. Off to the side of it is a black leather couch, only the side of it can be seen however. It’s the same setting Russo and the ‘mystery man?appeared in a couple segments during Power Struggle.

The same thing happens as before, the door opens and shuts, Vince Russo walks into view and shakes hands with the man, and only this time the cameras zoom out a little to show that it’s indeed Seifer. Wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, white Hurricanes, and a white Prodigal Wear long sleeve as he sits back down.

“Welcome to my domain.?/FONT>

“BUD??/FONT>

“Well, technically it’s The Universe, but I meant my office.?/FONT>

“Good to see you again Seif. It’s been ages since I worked with you. Glad to see you lived through on that potential and became one of the biggest names this industry has seen.?/FONT>

“Of course I did. But I don’t need my ass kissed.?/FONT>

“I’m just saying it’ll be good working with you again.?/FONT>

“It will. Though next time you decide I’m the next man to win the world title, don’t take it off me in a couple weeks!?/FONT>

They laugh. Seifer was referring to the period in WCW when Russo was in charge and he would have title changes become a frequent occurrence {average 2.6 weeks} to produce swerves and chaotic TV.

“Well you know my reasoning behind that, don’t take it personal.?/FONT>

“Oh I know. I don’t take it personally at all. In fact in the long run it’s worked out better for us because the majority of wrestling fans didn’t even know I was a former WCW Champion. So they pretty much marked my name right off the list, even though I did tell Decaine I wanted to speak with him.?/FONT>

“Well that’s because you hardly brag about your accomplishments.?/FONT>

He shrugs, “It is what it is.?/FONT>

“So let’s enlighten the people on exactly what went down.?/FONT>

“What went down is simple. Decaine came out moaning about his champions and how they aren’t acting like it. Well he mostly directed this towards the Birdman. So I came out and gave my own opinions on it and then ended it with me letting him know that I wanted to discuss something with him in private that would perk his interest.?/FONT>

“That of course being employment with IRX.?/FONT>

“Yep. But I had something in mind. Which when I told Decaine what it was, he didn’t seem as interested as I thought he would be. I mean on camera he seemed so pissed at Sparrow, so I used that to my advantage and said I’d fight him. I didn’t even, and still don’t, want the title on the line. It was a matter of completing a quest for me. This was his chance to watch the Birdman get punished for his lack of interest in the IRX.?/FONT>

He pauses.

“Of course that’s what I thought it was going to be. He was acting all sketchy about it too. But then as we all know it turns out Decaine had Sparrow kept in prison down in Mexico and was then making him out to be the bad guy. I didn’t know this at the time and he wasn’t going to let me in on it. Then again, even that wasn’t a real issue. The reason he didn’t sign me, well, to put it bluntly his ego.?/FONT>

“His ego? Because I know most are going to say your ego.?/FONT>

“Wrestling is a sport Vince. And in every sport athletes have pride. I wasn’t just going to sign a contract that entitled me to nothing special, didn’t even guarantee a match against Sparrow. Granted I know why he didn’t want that because he figured I’d then want the World title and the next thing he knows, he’s got his innovators pissed at him, guys who’s been here since the beginning that I’d be jumping over. That’s fear right there, that’s not trusting what I’m saying. So Bryan Williams, if you’re around and listening, you’ve got nothing to worry about, win or lose, Sparrow is still yours.?/FONT>

“You said he didn’t give you the match with Sparrow, what exactly did you want??/FONT>

“A stipulation since he was talking about stripping Sparrow of the belt. If I win, Sparrow gets stripped. If I lose, Decaine has to hand the belt that he’s been keeping from Sparrow back to him.?/FONT>

“I can see how he’d start acting sketchy. It was a lose-lose situation for him because of what he did. If you lost, he’d have to swallow his pride and hand Sparrow his belt. If you won, Sparrow would be stripped. Which wouldn’t have sat well with Sparrow and he’d of sued Decaine for adding in a stipulation due to him neglecting to do his job, and in court they’d of found that it was the reason he didn’t was because Decaine had him held up in Mexico. So it all falls back on Decaine’s lap.?/FONT>

“Win or lose in court, or even if it didn’t go that far, it’d look bad for Decaine and while he’d love to paint himself as McMahon, until IRX gets big enough it’s only going to hurt you in the long run. So needless to say, I decided that it wasn’t worth it. If I was going to get back into wrestling with no special deals, I’d of probably joined back with a company I’ve been with before. But after that I decided to just sit on what to do. IRX did show potential and I wasn’t in any hurry to get back on the wrestling scene.?/FONT>

“Which of course is where I came in.?/FONT>

“Exactly.?For the first time Seifer acknowledges the cameras, “Russo and I had worked together, as now all know, in WCW. This was shortly after I had gotten started in the wrestling business. I was decent then, having only a couple World titles, under my belt at the time, and showed a lot of potential. Enough obviously if I’m a former WCW Champion. Unfortunately the reign didn’t last long due to the angles they were running and after some time I received a better deal elsewhere so I decided to leave the company. Anyways, long story short Russo had followed me as my career progressed and I became the bonafide immortalized super superstar that I am today.?/FONT>

“Quite a mouthful.?/FONT>

“Indeed.?/FONT>

“So of course when I said I was going to shake things up in IRX, Seifer was the man I wanted.?/FONT>

“Mixed in with my great success in the MSN Era of wrestling, plus the fact that I left WCW without burning any bridges, I wasn’t too surprised when I got the call from Russo. We met and as you know filmed those couple segments in this room for Power Struggle. But we did discuss the terms and I didn’t ask for much. Just a match. One little match, non title, against the Innovative Revolution X World Heavyweight Champion. Of course since the key word is innovative, I decided I’d up the ante a little. After all, what would be the point of having Seifer in a company like this if I didn’t lend some of my creative wit to help make the program more interesting??/FONT>

“I’m glad you did. The Ice Cold Compound sounds like one hell of a match! So what exactly IS this match and why did you come up with it??/FONT>

Seifer grins now.

“The reason for this little interview Vince was to enlighten everyone on how all of this came about. I think I’ve covered that. As far as the match goes...?/FONT>

Seifer keeps that smirk.

“Well, you’ll just have to wait to find out like Sparrow and the rest of the world.?/FONT>

On that note, we fade out. The cameraman starts packing up.

“I know the details!?/FONT>

“So do the IRX techies whose working on it.?/FONT>

“Well yeah, but c’mon! I could have slipped and let the whole world know.?/FONT>

“You’d of been cut off by then.?/FONT>

“I’m the boss Seif, the cameraman wouldn’t have cut me off.?/FONT>

“No but my fist would have.?/FONT>

“Touché.?/FONT>

The scene fades.
