The starry night sky becomes the focus of our scene as we pan down onto a deck where Seifer’s kicking it on a grey patio chair. He’s wearing a pair of kaki shorts and a dark grey Everlast muscle shirt as he brushes some hair from his face.
“Talk about a return eh?�?/FONT>
He shakes his head.
“I mean, I’ve heard loud crowds before, I’ve heard loud Miami crowds before, but this one took the cake. As I was climbing across the cable ready to grab that the trophy for the three points I heard a booming chorus of boos fill the arena. Now knowing what I know about wrestling, that doesn’t mean one of my opponents is about to bash me in the head, it means someone was coming. So I quickened my pace, but alas I was too far away and the next thing I knew I was being slammed to the mat and then Dante’s music was echoing around the arena. I knew I’d lost, and I knew why as I rolled out of the ring, looking and seeing my perpetual nemesis. When they speak of blood feuds, wars being raged between two men so bloody, brutal, and hate filled, they speak of us. I saw that man and it clicked, he just aided Dante and gave him the win that I would have taken.�?/FONT>
Sighing he shakes his head yet again.
“I should have seen it coming, I mean we both return at the same time, the same night where we had our insane battle two years ago. But, and this may come as a surprise, I didn’t expect everything to go down that way. Yeah, Nova returned and helped Dante, that part isn’t what I’m shocked about, that I will get to in a couple. It’s no doubt that his hate for me runs far deeper than it ever will for Dante Cross. Me on the other hand, I stated it months ago prior to Nova even winning the BUD title, I don’t hate the man anymore. Of course you sure as hell won’t see us trading Christmas cards but I’ve long since supressed that hate.�?/FONT>
He holds up a hand, knowing what people were about to say.
“Oh but don’t worry, that hate will never die. It’s just dormant. If we ever end up in a ring, or a back alley or in the fucking desert again across from each other, you can rest assured it’ll come right back and I’ll gladly embrace it. Though since I’m on that topic, I’ll address this first. Nova, you’ve wanted a match with me for some time now and to be honest, I don’t know why you never stepped up and made an official challenge. This past Spring was when you had mentioned it more, I think something along the lines of that’s why you returned to BUD in the first place, to join MOD, run the tourney and face me. The thing is, if you really wanted a rematch that bad, all you had to do was challenge me. Call it crazy or me being ignorant to the facts but do you know how many people I’ve heard pop off at me? Some of them people I’ve faced before? Yet half the times they’re just mad and blowing off steam in my direction and don’t actually want a match.�?/FONT>
He shrugs.
“But now I know for sure, now I know damn well that it’s not just your way of taking shots at me. You want my blood on your hands again? You got it. Don’t get too excited there because as you said, I’m tame now, right? Yes, I’m so very tame.�?/FONT>
He flashes a little sly smile, as if he was up to something.
“But we’ll go along with that. A huge part of that is a lack of time. I’ve got other things I’ve been doing outside of wrestling that takes up most of my time. When I envisioned fighting you again, I envisioned having plenty of time to train and prepare for the fight while cutting promo after promo since it’d be unnatural for us to have a match without slinging more words at each other than most would care to hear. Though at the moment, I’ve no idea when that will happen. Yeah, I’m wrestling in BUD right now and will be going up against Dante soon, but he’s not you Nova. I’ll also be returning to active competition sometime in the future, but let’s be honest here, we take our matches to levels not even the most sadistic men can dream of going and that takes time to get to there. So to get back to my point, you want Seifer? You got him. When and where, we’ll just have to play that by ear. I’ve no problem facing you again man. But the question is, are you willing to wait? Cause if you’re just going to come out and start spewing crap that we know is crap about me not naming any kind of a date, I’ll buckle down and give you your match now. If just getting a victory over me is what you really want, then we can do this next week for all I care. But I’ll tell you now, you won’t get anything near the Seifer you know, sucks I know but that’s the way life is. But if you want me at the top of my game, or in your estimation as close as I can get to the top of my game, then I’ll say that when I can do it, I’m game.�?/FONT>
“Now that that’s out of the way let’s move on to what Dante missed and what you missed. You keep talking about how I’m afraid I’m going to get forgotten. Please, don’t do as jobbers do and become oblivious to the facts, you’re better than that. I won’t be forgotten, what I’ve done in countless companies on multiple circuits speaks for itself. The reason I came back? Go watch the end of MOD. Maybe you’ve never been stabbed in the back by a friend Nova but if you have then you should damn well know exactly why I came back. I joke that it’s to take Dante’s spotlight. I’ve had it so long in BUD I no longer want it, I still have other accomplishments I’d like to achieve in other companies so my days in BUD will only be now and then when I want a little ‘fix�? You don’t fuck with Seifer. You don’t stab Seifer in the back.�?/FONT>
He rubs at his face for a moment but then stops.
“The biggest shocker came when I saw you backing Dante the way you are. Blowing smoke up his ass, that’s a shocker. Oh and before you guys start coming at me by saying I’m jealous or anything, you couldn’t be further from the truth. I don’t care, at first I was just surprised to see you hyping him that way when the Nova I know would rather rip out his heart and then fuck his woman in front of him as the last seconds of helpless life escape him. You helping him? Nah, that’s aiight but I see through it, I don’t believe for one moment that you’re all buddy buddy with Dante. At least, I’m hoping you aren’t because that will mean you’ve changed drastically. If you are though,�?he shrugs, “No skin off my back. But as far as taking Dante to a level only you can... I hope you do Nova. Because if you don’t, he’ll be dead by the time I get through with him. If you do, then he might stand a chance.�?/FONT>
He cracks his neck to the side.
“That’s right Dante, I’m still going to talk my big talk, you should know that. You went over this time,�?he shrugs, “but you had help. I said it before and I’ll say it again, that was only a teaser. And that isn’t just directed towards the fans.�?/FONT>
He gives off that sly smirk again as the cameras fade to black.
