Part I was revealed on Shockwave #74 when Seifer made his return to Professional Wrestling Today. After one of the longest yet well received entrances done in quite some time it became clear just what Seifer’s immediate goals were, yet it’d be foolish to think that he would make his grand return just to get at Kane 2 for a chokeslam. Since when has Seifer only been focused on one thing? He’s got something on his mind?a couple things actually. Not to mention questions have also been flying around on why he didn’t make it back to PWT sooner, during the PWT/W2K battle. It wasn’t a war, merely a battle; perhaps in the future it’ll escalate to a war. All of that will be answered soon enough.
Until then however, enjoy this moment. Live it up because this is the moment Seifer not only makes his return back to PWT but to active competition as well. After an eight month near absence from the wrestling world as a whole minus tournaments and revenge, Seifer is ready to journey back to the land he once ruled over. Ready to blaze a new trail like only he can.
Your mind and body can rest easy now for the source of seifmadness has returned to give you your daily fixings.
The scene opens in the backstage hallways of PWT in a very basic setting. After all, it was Seifer’s return and it felt good to just be treading through the halls he once walked daily. Leaning up against a wall is Seifer, his eyes are closed.
“I don’t go out of my way to impress anyone. It’s just not my style. If that means ripping into or lighting up a guy who is getting cheers like I am, so be it. Through this attitude and style I’ve generated legions of fans who I’ve won over without ever trying to win their favor. If one day they should choose to boo me, I’ll keep on trucking and do what I do best. Yet on the same token, I can’t help but smile when I think of my return last night on Shockwave.?/FONT>
A smile does cross his face as he thinks of it. Finally he opens his eyes and looks forward.
“To speak candidly for a moment, it really is the fans who make this business go around, even if you’re a heel, off camera you’d agree. So for me, when I receive the type of reaction I received last night at the MGM Grand, it was?words cannot even describe the feeling. The electricity that was flowing there in that arena as the fans were slapping my back, chanting my name, singing the lyrics, and soaking it all in. So for that, I thank you.?/FONT>
He pauses for a moment, adjusting his position.
“It’s good to know PWT hasn’t forgotten just who the hell I am. But I don’t think I’ll ever have to worry about people forgetting me. I mean did you know there are actually some people who just couldn’t keep my name from their mouth? Granted it’s been well over a month now, maybe even two I’ve been gone so long, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t hear it and don’t remember. I mean hey, I’m not saying you can’t mention me; everyone drops a name here and there to make a point or even to brag and that’s fine. Sure it’s arrogant when you brag about beating someone but that’s part of what makes this business go round. But what I’ve never understood is how someone can stand before a camera and brag about an ‘accomplishment?like it actually led to him winning the match!?/FONT>
He shakes his head in disbelief.
“But that’s not even the best part. Because this man did it and didn’t blink on it, didn’t even bother to mention that though he did this, he lost the match, that he just wasn’t good enough. Nah, that’d ruin the image he was trying to put out, the message of his so called ‘excellence?he was trying to put forth. Here’s the best part though, he talked big against the man you just don’t do that against. If you beat me and boast, I’ll probably ignore it cause you did win, and that’s what happens sometimes. But when you end up giving off the impression to your fans and followers who may not have seen the match, that you actually won, that’s something I won’t stand by and watch. It’s also something I won’t just bring to your attention. I’ll take you on again. And again I will take you out.?/FONT>
Seifer’s expression has just gotten a bit more serious.
“Incase you don’t know who I’m talking about, it’s that guy who is running around here with a belt he hardly earned. Yeah, I’m talking to you DVD. What? Did you think that just because I wasn’t around meant that I wouldn’t see when you came back to PWT and started running your mouth about how you made Seifer tap out? I might have let it slide had it been once, but I recall it being a couple times and seeing as you didn’t even win or tie me in that match, you’ve got no grounds to even be speaking my name in that fashion. But you did, and now you’re going to get leveled into the ground.?/FONT>
He pauses and shakes his head.
“I could continue to light you up, but I wouldn’t want to rain on your little ego trip parade right now, I’ll save it for when I know I’m set to face you across the ring. And that will happen, whether you like it or not.?/FONT>
Now a smile flashes across his face.
“For one I’m disappointed you lost the People’s championship as I could have killed two birds with one stone there since I do intend on coming for it soon. But nonetheless you did and now because I just came back it kind of puts me out of grasp to get you in the ring because you have the Heavyweight.?He ponders this for a quick moment, “Actually, I’ll bet if I pulled a DVD I’d have your ass at the December PPV for the title, but I don’t roll the way you do David, I don’t mind re-earning my spot. True, I could have always challenged you but since you’ve got this holier than thou attitude going on, I’ll bet you would have made me wait anyways. I mean, Sean Hunter did want to face you a while back but that never quite went down. So here’s the way it is David. On Shockwave right after DangerZone, I’ll take pride in taking what’s yours. There’s going to be a little Tag Team title match. It’s a shame MJ has to be in on this, as I had no real intentions on getting at him but that’s just where the pieces fall. Who’s going to be my partner? Well I don’t just drop names for no reason, so if you guessed Sean Hunter, you’d be correct. It’s not as if we haven’t had an alliance in the past before anyways.?/FONT>
He pushes off the wall now.
“Oh and you’re the last one who should be throwing out the ‘but you didn’t earn it?line at me so don’t even try. But since your partner did earn his tag title, I’ll clear up this issue for him. It’s a three-fold reason. Number one, it’s just the tag titles and you guys haven’t had any challenges for a while so there should be no problem. Two, because I had relinquished my Seifanium championship I was given the ability to go after the tag straps prior to my leaving but because of other obligations and time constraints, I couldn’t. But now I am. And lastly, I already beat DVD in a non title tag team match the last time he was tag champ. So this time, though we both have different partners, the belts go on the line.?/FONT>
“Oh and David, if you want to prove me wrong on your holier than thou attitude and that you do have balls, then consider this the official challenge to you for a one on one match sometime in the near future, say before year's end. But to make those who are looking to get in Heavyweight contention rest easy, the match would have no title implications, at least for the time being anyways.?/FONT>
He goes to walk away but stops and turns back to the cameras.
“Yep, Seifer’s indeed back and already getting things rolling. You know I’m not the type of guy who just sits around and lets the world pass him by. Which brings me to my final statement. The PWT Heavyweight Championship. Just because I said I’d work a match with no title implications now doesn’t mean I won’t be gunning for the belt in the future. NED once said, and don’t quote me because I’m not sure what his exact message was, something to the extent that all the champs since his first reign were living a false reality because he never lost. Now, I’m one to disagree because I believe that when a company closes, all reigns end. But I do see where he was coming from. I never lost the title either and you can bet your ass I’ll be coming back for it. I’ve never been wishy washy and I do have a set date in mind. So to all the could-be challengers who are thinking about going for the PWT, now is the time. Stop sitting around and do it already. Because by the time my Pay Per View rolls around, Thee Man will reclaim his throne.?/FONT>
Yet again Seifer turns but stops.
“And if you don’t know which Pay Per View mine is, then I feel so sorry for you.?/FONT>
He winks as the scene fades to black.
Heeee’ss baaaaaaacck!
