I'm not even going to get into how long it's been since WallStreet's narrator decided to blow things out of proportion on something where such little was mentioned yet on the same token, such little was paid attention to. Why hasn't this come sooner? Because BUD's not on Seifer's priority list at the moment and therefore being his narrator it's only slightly on mine. I had more important things to attend to and so it was done at my leisure. What? You didn't think anyone from this camp would get shut up did you? Nah, Street's a busy guy so you should know what its like. Let's get down to this whole ego business and really who is top draw, or 'was'. While Street's narrator does make some valid points in regards to Seif's priorities. You've got to realize that Seifer didn't do this 'gig' to make the ratings, he didn't come back to become the top draw. Truth be told MOD was going to be his last match, that was until jealously struck some chump. So what'd Seifer do? He came back simply for revenge. It's not about the draw or getting in those ratings, it's about showing everyone the truth. Simple as that. In turn blood thirsty fans, hardcore sports fanatics who love true feuds and rivalries bought into it. Who wouldn't want to see two of the fuckin' best trying to rip each other apart? I'll give credit where it's due, WallStreets been busting his ass in the time he has had a chance to for BUD to put this feud over, props to him on that. And as stated earlier, in the world of more drama related feud's, the McMahon-Margera/McCallister is the top draw. But when it comes to wrestling, which is what this sport is based on, or at least BUD anyways as it's never been as storyline savvy as other top federations, Seifer/Dante is the top draw. Well 'was' now but you get the point. Deal with it. Now as far as Dante having all these other obligations which means it's Seifer who should be carrying the feud, I don't think you realize just how annoying getting stabbed in the back is. You don't give a fuck about carrying jackshit for some ungrateful person, you just want to beat them to a bloody pulp. Besides, cry me a river, when Seifer's was champion he carried this damn company and still managed to handle all his other obligations. Present time when it comes to obligations though, maybe not in BUD but Seifer's far outweigh what Dante might have had to do. Call it breaking reality if you will but this is e-reality anyways so people can bitch about it or just do us all a favor and shut the fuck up. Seifer's got business ventures in a couple parts of the world, he's still got a city that's under construction and hell, he's even actively wrestling elsewhere to further his legacy there since he's already done more than anyone in BUD has done-- and in a third the time no less! But you're right, at the end of the day, Dante has carried the feud. Then again, Seifer was never booked outside of those Pay Per View matches, he was available too, but just never booked. And don't come back and say 'Seifer never signed up', Seifer stopped signing those stupid sign up sheets two months into his BUD career. He always had more of a W2K/PWT state of mind, if he's active, book him. Maybe Dante has a little more rub than the average champion has behind the scenes and he was trying to make sure Seifer didn't wrestle on Hangover, trying to keep his thumb over him to make sure he kept himself looking good. Thing is if Seifer actually gave a damn about that stuff, he might of done something. But while others need it, he doesn't. If he really wanted to wrestle on the shows and shine like the MOD Champ should, he would. The way Seifer figures it-- and mind you I'm only speculating-- is that he only joked about keeping Dante in his shadow when Dante talked about it, he doesn't need nor want the BUD spotlight anymore. Let the boys and girls who are here now have fun with it. As stated before, Seifer only came back for one reason. Now as far as blaming anyone for anything... it appears as if something, most likely the promotional ad, got someone's panties in a bunch. All that was said was merely a response to your own camp's promotional banner with an egotistical flare over something Dante had said. Naturally it's going to be replied to and it has. Let me ask you this: you commented about how the McMahon's are BUD Legends. Um, you mean back when just about everyone became a 'Legend'? Yeah, point in case. It's not a shot at Stephanie or anyone else, it's just simple fact that McMahon's have been known to take over programming and bore people to death. Sure people still watch, doesn't mean it's that entertaining or else there wouldn't be so many complainers and reminiscing about the good ol' days. But because they love wrestling, they deal with it. That's all that is being said, so whether it's corporate America or MSN, the same still applies. I'm glad you never tore down our feud, no one from this party said you did. The Seifer/Dante feud and McMahon/McCallister feud are both top draws in their own separate categories. Sorry if this is a shot at your boss' ego because he is on the level of a Seifer and a Dante, but to say that him and Steph can put on a better match than Seifer and Dante is having an blinding ego. That's not taking anything away from Steph because I'm sure you two would put on a great match if you worked hard at it, but so would Seifer and Dante. The difference in all of this is while you all are busting your asses worrying about the feud and ratings, Seifer's done minimal effort and still managed to keep pace with everyone, still managed for his feud to be the top one in the non drama aspect. I guess it pays to be good enough to succeed with your D game. Now before this gets closed, let's go back to the promotional advertisement and spell things out for you. I'll admit, I wasn't clear with what was said, I guess I shouldn't of assumed much out of people. The only part of the ad that related to this situation was the first line, since a shot was taken from a visual, not a promo, when nothing had come from this side before then. It was already stated that it wasn't made for you, but for someone else and was just being re-used because part of it applied. Why would Seifer threaten to make sure you're never seen again? He hardly ever makes threats but best believe when he does, they come true. Not only does he not care, but he had no reason to here. Last I checked, Seifer and Street were still tight. In this entire 'whose feud is hottest' thing the only parties who even commented were you and I, Dante and WallStreet, in no order. It's not that Seifer no longer cares about BUD, he's just got better things to do than deal with pettiness like this. And on that matter, so do I. So unless you're *really* bothered by the fact that Seifer can put such little effort into something and still come out shinin', be easy. If not then you can go ahead and come back at all of this. But if you do, do us all a favor and pay close attention so we don't have another misunderstanding of what was said since about seven times more was said this time around. It'll be a lot easier for everyone and I can actually spend my time doing something productive. |
