E'rybody wanna be the King of the South
When, they ain't runnin a damn thing but they mouth
No doubt, it's all good, y'all just statin y'alls opinion
But in the South and in wrestlin' it's understood without sayin
It's a given, and ain't because of what I'm doin for a livin
It's, mo' because of what I do and how I'm livin
Not to mention when I'm wrasslin I'm just hurtin niggaz feelings (Niggaz feelings)
And still chillin on somethin that's into healing
Made
provisions for the clique to continue keepin it pimpin
Whether titles was in the house or merchandise sales was through the ceiling
So say what you want, and do what you please
But for fun, I shoot 22's from your shoes to your knees
I run a hot stable and a crew of champs
So, niggaz'll come and look for you if ya sneeze
or even breathe the wrong way, you better do what the song say
And be easy, or else it'll be a long day

You Know What It Is, Mother Fucker

I'm a king - title belts on the waist of my jeans
I'm a king - you pussy niggaz couldn't see me in your dreams
I'm a king - top topic of all of your magazines
I'm a king - head of the body, leader of the team
I'm a king - remember I can get your block knocked off
I'm a king - a Vanquish S with the top chopped off
I'm a king - I'm connectin nationwide but in the South
I'm a king - just respect it and keep my name out'cha mouth

King.

A title many in this industry claim to have, yet only very few have legit claims to such a title. Some have won it through matches, others have won it via recognition of their talent and what they have brought to the industry, whether on an indy, national, or global level; each is equally deserving. It's no secret that the usage of being a 'King' was highly popularized from the rap game after England and France, among other countries had begun to change how they ran their government decades ago, although England still keeps up with the ceremonies. If someone went out and proclaimed themselves to be the King, even if they deserved it, it ended up causing a lot of controversy mainly due to jealously. Such was the case when famous Atlanta rapper T.I. claimed himself to being the King of the South, rappers like Lil Flip and Ludacris didn't take kindly to it, among others. However there were still far more people who accepted it, the point is you aren't going to be able to please everyone. It's no secret Seifer has been a fan of rap and the culture for quite a few years, having connections with many rappers, down south and even out to the East and West coasts. It's part of the reason why so often Seifer has quoted various rap songs and/or edited some of the lyrics to better fit the current situation. If Seifer was a rapper, and not wrestler, he would probably be widely popular and successful and have strong allies, while at the same time have some pretty heavy beefs with those jealous of him. The same can be said to how his wrestling career has been.

It's amazing how the two industries are closely related, and even now, they are following a very similar pattern. Lately the vibe has been that 'Hip Hop is dead' as stated from rap phenomenon NaS, among others. On the wrestling scene it was Jacob Mitchell who made similar statements to wrestling being dead. Both of them have a point. Back then the industry was booming, yet with new technology coming in everyday, corporate America has managed to severely hurt the rap industry. Yet the names that are out there today are producing some pretty high quality tracks, following in a similar pattern to the NBA Playoffs where the product just continues to get better. On the flip side, wrestling is doing well when it comes to organization and recognition despite the fact that the recognition mainly stays in the different circles that have developed, not just between allies, but between federations as well. The downside of wrestling is that the industry has gone soft. This past year there have been so few truly amazing matches it's not even funny. Point in case, here in PWT Seifer won match of the year in a match he wouldn't even rate in his top ten, his effort was there, but it had no means been his best work. Come to think of it, it's been well over a year since Seifer has put in anything near what his 'A' game would be like, and the reason being is there was just never the need to; he was still stealing the show, and he was still getting people vibing about a match leading up to it and well after it. So he started spending less time focusing on bringing out the true 'overkill' Seifer that had made him abundantly famous and more time on his outside of wrestling life. From continuing the construction of his futuristic city that's nearly three years in the building process, to overseeing various projects worldwide, even the construction of his space station, to helping out charities and organizations that give to those in need including his own Hurricane relief organization, and many other things.

But don't get it twisted, just because Seifer is pretty busy, doesn't mean he isn't about to abandon his wrestling career, truth be told, he enjoys it too much. Yes, the business is down, it can be attributed to the over abundance of egos in wrestling, more than before and most of which are coming from people who haven't earned it. Those who have deserved egos have allowed theirs to become bigger than themselves, causing blindness to facts and an inability to step outside zones of comfort. Too often are people worried about how they're going to look and would rather just talk trash and think they're the best then actually go at it with someone. People squash beefs nowadays before it can even begin, wrestling is more or less at peace and look how much it's falling. Truth is, beef is what helps make this industry go round and creates some amazing matches. Maybe it's just me but when I watch a couple guys promoting their match and going on and on about how they respect each other throughout the entire thing, I want to take a gun and blow my head off. I'm not saying everything should turn into off camera feuds, because then while it's exciting, it's also no longer fun. I'm saying people need to go in with a killer instinct. Then again, I work for a guy who is known for doing that, maybe that's part of the reason Seifer doesn't want to retire. Love him or hate him, the industry needs guys like him other wise it'd become full of a bunch of soft pussies who only wrestle their friends and boost up their own resumes, how exciting is that?

Well as bleak as the wrestling industry seems to be, you need'nt worry. The stars who are given the ball at the end of the games are going to come through and make wrestling exciting once again. Even though it has already begun with others in TnT, it's going to start here in PWT with a coronation.

The scene opens up in New Orleans' City Park. Off to both sides as far as we can see people are gathering to witness this historic event. Up somewhere in the middle of the park, beyond the three ponds we see a large stage set up in the middle of the grassy area and between the trees. On stage there is a curtain covering what is behind it as a lot of people are gathering closer, sitting on blankets, lawn chairs, and standing on this sunny day in The Big Easy. Off to the front some ropes are marked off where various celebrities, wrestlers, and rappers are watching on. After a few moments the cameras pan up to the stage where a man with short black hair, he taps the microphone a couple times and clears his throat.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to thank you all for coming out to today's coronation of King Seifer and rap concert that will be following this event. I'm Julius Wade, a long time friend of Seifer and as some of you may know just recently made my way in front of the cameras with Seifer back in the Innovative Revolution X. I now give to you, New Orleans own, MASTER P!!!!"

J-Dub exits stage right and goes back behind the curtains as the center curtains opens up just slightly as we see Master P himself sporting a white Bush jersey emerging from them and onto the stage to a thunderous ovation.

"WHAD UP NOR'LEANS!! Damn! It feels good to be home doing this in front of ya'll. In every sport or industry there's a man/woman or a group of people who go out and revolutionize the sport during their era. In boxing we had Muhammad Ali, basketball, we had Michael Jordan, in the rap game we had Tupac, and in wrestling, we have Seifer. Of course a lot of niggaz out there are gonna disagree and I ain't saying that he's the end all be all, no one is in the wrestling industry. There were people before, there is people now and will be after. It's as diverse as a sport like football is when it comes to naming one person as the greatest of all. But this man is certainly right up there with the greatest men and women of sports. Now I may not have known Seifer for very long but I've seen him wrestle, know what he can do and how he conducts his bidness. Lemmie tell you dat he earned the nickname given to him by Escobar in being 'The Real The Real MV' cause when it comes to wrestling he is the most valuable. This man single handedly took Miami and put it back on the map in the wrestling industry and has been a great representative of the south. Wrestling is a lot like our industry in that a couple things really sell: controversy, talent and respect. Seifer's got all three, that's why he's so well known down in Texas. Here in New Orleans he's given a lot of his time and money into helping our great city after Katrina, having been thru many hurricanes himself down in FL. Then of course you've got his strong support over in Hotlanta mainly due to him being long time allies with Atlanta's own Prophecy. So the Gods of Rap deemed that one of the Kings of MSN would be the right man to carry on the torch of becoming the official King of the South. No more just T.I. approved, this shit is... SCARFACE APPROVED!!!"

The crowd roars for the Geto Boy as he begins to make his way onto stage. P yells into the mic once more before he hands it off to Scarface.

"AND SHOUT OUT TO MY BOY BOBBY J! BRING IT HOME PLAYA!"

Another roar of cheers for New Orleans's hometown hero. Scarface now keeps it short and simple.

"All that needs to be said has already been said, so lets get this shit rollin' G!"

On his cue the curtains part and the stage looks like the inside of a Royal Palace. Up the middle is a red carpet going up three steps to where a golden throne is. Seifer's kneeling in front the throne looking out at the crowd as off to one side is Dre and off to the other is Eminem. Of course in front of the stage is a whole slew of rappers, Nas, Game, Snoop, Busta, Jigga, Santana, and a large amount of Southern rappers including Trick Daddy, Chamillionaire, Ludacris, Pastor Troy, T.I., Buck, André of Outkast, Rick Ross, Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Jeezy, Ying Yang Twins just to name a few. And yes, those currently beefing aren't sitting next to each other and security is on alert and extra cautious.

Scarface hands the mic back over to Julez who gives him a crown.

"Without wasting anytime getting this coronation underway, on Seifer's right we've got Doc Dre who was a huge influential figure to the rap game and on his left Eminem who broke more rap barriers than Seifer's broken wrestling barriers but like Seif has revolutionized his profession as well. To conduct the ceremony Houston's own Scarface, The Original King of the South."

Julez now hands the mic over to Dre who hands it to Seifer.

"For this to become official and not just empty claims, I'd like to thank everyone who has shown me respect and especially the Gods of Rap for bestowing this great honor on me. Though I'll say this, if you think your boy is gonna be going soft after this, you're dead wrong. The Real The Real MV is still going to be keeping it real, best believe that."

He hands the mic off to Julez.

"Let's do this."

Scarface walks up the steps and as Dre and Em both put a little oil on Seifer's head, Scarface sets the crown upon it.

"I hereby declare Seifer Jacobs, the King of the South."

Cheers are heard behind them as the coronation finishes. Seifer stands up and sits on the throne behind him.

"ALL HAIL THE KING! Hahaha, now things are going to get real interesting. As my first order of being King of the South I say we GET THIS SHIT ROCKIN'!!!"

Cue the beats as the set is removed revealing turntables and the like as Master P kicks off this rap concert. Seifer ends up exiting off the stage and eventually makes his way out of view as the concert ensues causing the scene to fade out for now.

A little later on and off in the distance with the throng of people bangin' to the music of the on going concert, right now Game is spittin' it up in the background Seifer is leaning up against a small bridge over looking a pond he glances over his shoulder at the concert and then back into the PWT cameras.

"Well that was truly a fun memorable moment. To all the haters who are grunting in disgust or scheming on how to possibly use this against me, save it, because you should know by now it's not that easy. It was a title given to me and you know what, I damn well deserve it. Before I get into the match itself and making connections to what is going down here today, I'd like to address Bobby Johnson. Simply put Bobby, if any of this has offended you, I apologize. It wasn't by any means meant to steal your thunder or what you're trying to accomplish this Sunday. As far as I'm concerned, Holiday Havoc is going to be your night. No matter how excellent my match with MJ ends up or what we do in it, you bring home that gold, these people will be rockin' to your tune all night long. That being said when the idea was first brought forth to me by TI, I was thinking of having it in Houston, since that's where Scarface is from. But as things started getting in order and with the PPV being in the south anyways, we figured New Orleans would be as good a place as any since it's still a corner stone of the South. So now you know this wasn't meant to be a slap in the face just because it's in New Orleans."

"Moving on to the matter at hand, our match at the PPV MJ. Let me say that after you watch this event, before you try and come at me telling me that I'm ripping the idea you did back in one of your matches at the King of PWT, I'm not. This is slightly different and wasn't me proclaiming anything upon myself, yeah I know you had won a King of the Ring tourney but you get my meaning. Not to mention like three people did promos similar to sitting atop a throne with a crown during that period anyways, it's just something people have done for years. The whole point of this didn't really have anything to do with this match persae other than another milestone of sorts in my career. It's time I helped bring back this industry to its glory days and I'm going to start off by reppin' the south, even though I'm already King of MSN. And when I say MSN, I don't mean Jake."

Seifer says with a humorous tone. "So this is just another part of bringing the game back up to speed. And what better way for the King of the South to get things going then right here in the south? This little challenge was laid to me by you a couple weeks ago and I accepted. I wasn't doing anything for the Pay Per View so why not. You want to see how you can fair against me going for an hour? Then you're going to get it MJ. I know you're looking forward to this opportunity as it's your chance to show the world what you can do. This isn't about titles so I probably won't be trying to break your back. This is about seeing how you fare against the best; see if you can restore some of that credibility you lost when you lost the PWT Championship. I know it's been eating at you MJ, everytime you hear someone mentioning your name its usually in a negative manner. I'll bet it makes your blood boil, knowing that the wrestling industry thinks so lowly of you. Now I know not much will change your way of thinking, I learned that going back and forth with you the last time we fought and I had to show you what was up in the ring. Point is, I think you feel you've got something to prove after the way you quit against NED. But check back in history MJ, you're not the only one who has quit a match because a woman was in danger. In fact Triple H did that very same thing to The Rock in an "I Quit" match back when The Corporation had Chyna surrounded in the ring. The only difference of course is you gave up your title in doing so. That right there is why you've gotten so much heat. I know you love your fianceé Cassie MJ, but she's a wrestler too and you just have to expect things like that. I've only had a couple on camera relationships in my career but every time that issue came up, it was what it was. I wasn't going to change what I was doing for a woman because then I wouldn't be me and would become a hypocrite when I said back in my early wrestling days that women made men weak, trust me, I've been down that road. Of course, I feel differently now, it just depends on how you stay on your game when involved with someone else on camera. My question to you is, will Cassie get involved? I mean, you were worn out from your match with David that you were unable to defend your tag titles against Sean and I, who's to say that if your in desperate situations someone won't come out and try and aid you. This is a hardcore iron man match, isn't it? Don't think I'm naive enough to think that there isn't a possibility of you having something planned. Just know though, that I'll be watching and will make sure my back is covered if need be. People get this false sense of reality that just because I get cheers and don't straight up go for the kill anymore means I won't be willing to get down and dirty. If you want to stand a chance MJ, don't be one of those people."

He winks and arches his back for a moment, stretching it and then doing it to both sides.

"While I appreciate what you're trying to do, I meant when I said to make sure this is what you really wanted. The response I got... well I decided I'd let you have your moment and keep my mouth shut. You can thank me later as I don't normally do that. Somewhere in that mind of yours you think that by beating me at Holiday Havoc no one will question your 'greatness'. Maybe you aren't bothered by the NED debacle at all and are just too thick headed to really see the light. Reality of the situation is that people will go on about how I let you win, whether that is true or not, I've seen it first hand. So even if by some miracle of a chance you won, it'd take a lot more than that to get people to even consider you great, let alone not to question it. As far as humiliating me and DVD... it'll be hard to do that to David since he's not in the match as then it's just comparing Iron Man's, but as far as I go? Well I'll be wrestling you for an hour and there's no way in hell you're going to be able to humiliate me for an hour straight. If anything it'd be the other way around but I'm not going to try and dominate you for an hour because no one wants to see that, hell as much of a creative genius that I am, I want to fight, not spend my time trying to think of creative ways to hurt you. Besides, I'm not one to underestimate too much and I gave you props earlier for stepping up your game the past few months so I know that it won't be a walk in the park. Others may think that, but I know you've got a bit more fight plus most of them hate on you just because like BUD, or DVD in W2K, it's the 'in thing' to do. On the real, this won't be any easy match, but I know me and I know it's also not one I'm going to lose. On the bright side about facing a guy like me MJ is that even if you lose, you can still win."

He pauses for a moment, letting that sink in before continuing on with his thoughts.

"I've defeated a lot of people in my career that ended up shining after our match, this too can be your chance. You want to get on a path to greatness well you're going up against the right person. I say right person because I'm one of the few who knows how to put someone over while still proving I'm better. You want to restore and build on the name MJ Storm? Then you bring your best fucking effort Sunday and you try with your heart of heart to beat me. I'll wrestle you, I'll brawl with you, I'll fight all over the arena if we have to, but there's two things I won't do in this match."

He holds up a finger.

"I won't lose."

And now another one.

"And I won't do any stupid huricanrana's."

Seifer grins, oh how he loved making jokes about that.

"Yeah, I know you use it, don't take offense it's more of an inside joke. Or actually, that just came rolling out off the tip of my tongue, shows how hard I've had to go at people. Go ahead and take offense, get mad, get angry, do whatever you have to do because Sunday marks my first real Pay Per View match since my absence from the company and you can bet your ass I plan on letting everyone know that Seifer is back."

With a wink Seifer heads back towards the stage as the scene fades to black.
