Poultry, One-Pot Chicken w/Noodles - 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound egg noodles, uncooked
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, cut into rings
- 1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, or 8 ounces fresh mushrooms
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place chicken in a large pot with broth. Add peppers and onions; simmer 10 minutes.
- Add noodles to broth and cook according to package directions.
- Add mushrooms 5 minutes before noodles are done. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
