My client is 30-40% grey, and a level 4 naturally.  I have been touching her up with scruples 1N and 4 RG making it a rich brown-violet, then using scruples lightner, oil, red booster for her "highlights" making a red / deep orange highlights......it looked nice.  She said she liked it and that is what she wanted,  now She is coming in tomorrow, and told me she likes the girl on the Pantene commercial with chocolate brown hair and golden light brown highlights.........I am confused how to give her that look and dreading tomorrow.

My boss told me to use clairol BW2 with the cheap 20V half mixed with water to make 5volume and mix it together and at the shampoo bowl "shampoo it in" on the mid shaft only for 5 minutes, wash it out, and do her ends, 2-3 minutes, wash it out, and then her roots for 2-3 mintues, and then he said mix any level 6 ash color and put over everything and I should get the results I am looking for........

Does that make sense to anyone............Help!

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I have been on here........well that day I remember I ended up talking her out of wanting to change it to a lighter color, what she really wanted was to get rid of the highlights, so lucky for me, I just put her base color all over, and let her process, now everything is even, and one color......making it easier maintence for her, since she is busy with school she is very happy!

That does'nt make sense to me but if it works.. go for it.. But I would of.. IF YOUR DEPOSITING... I don't see what the problem is.. and why you would have to use BW2 From clariol for lifting.. ... You should be able to use a ash brown right over it and be done with it.... (ASH BEING IT HAS A GREEN BASE.. Would cast out the red tones.. according to your color wheel)
But ya .. HOW DID IT COME OUT?
