I work for a Regis salon, and I heard they were going to eventually change from Matrix to Wella, but we haven't yet. Just curious, what type of Wella is it? I've only worked with Colorcharm. I've never used Blondor, sorry I can't help you there. Is there any way you can take the DVD home? Ask your manager, you never know. If not, I would definately stay at least a half hour later or go in early to watch it if I were you. They have alot of technique videos also. It sounds like you're doing well, that's great!

Blondor is Wella's bleach, I love it and will not use anything else.  I never have to tone it is a great blue bleach!!  I have used Alpha Parf, and a few other 's but this is still the best!!  When I do and emmersion color I can use 10 vol on a full foil and by the time the color is done the foils are perfect.  Try it I promise you won't be disappointed!!
have a great Day!
Jenn

Hi, I use Blondor and I love it.  If you are slower at foiling, then try using different strengths of developer.  Depending on the condition of the hair.  I always start with 10 vol.  in the back, especially if the hair is color treated. Then I move to the sides with 20 vol. and the the top with 20 and 30.  The different strengths allow the processing time to "even" out.  Plus, if reached the top and the back is done you can rinse the back out, and so forth with the sides.  You can also use a heat lamp to speed processing time.  Sometimes I will foil the whole head with ten vol. using the same placement technique, again, this depends on the condition of the hair.  If it is fairly healthy and strong and dark I will move up to thirty I rarely use forty unless I am using a cap on a guy or someone with very short healthy hair.
Blondor is a great products and I prefer it over Goldwell and Paul Mitchell.  Good luck!

We use the blonder at our salon and have had great results with it.  I think it lifts better and if you are slow you can use 10 vol. and do the whole head and use the dryer and it will come up great.  Just take your time and you will be fine.

Blondor is a wonderful bleach. lifts perfectly, stays creamy, and leaves the hair in great condition if used properly. I use it with 1.9% developer. that is the developer used with wella color touch. Its lower than 10 vol. i think its a 6 vol.If you are slow, start with that if the hair is level 5 or lighter.  Then progress up to 15-20 vol.Take your time. Only use heat if absolutely necessary. And, if its your first time, practice on a friend, family member or mannequin. Do not ever practice on a paying client.Taking the time to watch the dvd will help, but nothing will help as much as practice....good luck!~ you'll be fine...

I agree.  I like blondor its one of my favorites,  use the 10 or lower vol. on the back and as you get to top add a litte 20 to it so it all comes out the same.  beautiful colors
