I feel so hurt right now. Today, we had one of our twice annual free classes. I admit, they go over many of the things they have before. Well, after the theory part of the class, before lunch and before the models were scheduled, one of the girls I work with (very young, 21),  just decided to leave. Not only did she do that, but she was bragging that she was going to do it, and saying, "I have more important things to do today". Not only was that not fair to anyone else, but I felt that was extremely rude to the instructor. She might have well have spit in her face. Many stylists pay alot of money to attend these type of classes, and I am grateful I could take them for free all this time. I don't care if you're not the type to take classes, or feel you don't need any, the least you could do is act like an adult and sit through it, because they ARE mandatory! The manager did say she would take care of it, whatever that means. One of the things that bothered me more is that she commented on how they couldn't do anything to her, and saying "what are they going to do fire me? and then snickers." See, the manager has been having problems lately. Her husband has been diagnosed with colon cancer, and is not doing well. He probably won't survive. If the manager is not on her toes with certain issues lately, this is why. Before anyone suggests I leave this place, please understand that I feel comfortable here for many reasons. The manager is a dear woman, and I have known her for more years than she was my boss. I couldn't take advantage of anyone like that, and it hurts me to see others doing it. Thanks for letting me vent.

Amy
