Hey girl...hugs to you. If you remember well, my father died of colon cancer at the age of 44. I can understand the stress and pressure that your employer is dealing with on a daily basis. Regarding the 'snot' co-worker....it will come back to kick her in the pants. Don't underestimate your employer at this time. Yes, she's going thru a very difficult time. I remember what my mother went thru. But when something happened or if someone said something that was extremely wrong, she hopped on them like a dog in heat. It's like....she's more bothered by everything going on, but not in the mood  to 'let things slide' either. I'm willing to bet that her comment of "what are they going to do fire me?" will  come back and bite her in the ass. She's young and immature and doesn't realize the importance of all this education. My prayers are for your boss at this time and my wishes are for that little brat to get fired!  haha
Take care girl! It will be okay!
