Here in N.C. May 10th is Confederate Memorial Day. Our county has May as Confererate  History month. The Battle flag is flown on our court house lawn, and R.E.Lee's headquarters flag is flown on his birthday. There is pics posted of this. I consider ourselves lucky to be able to observe our heritage here.
