a few days ago a few jehovah witnesses approached me, showed a picture of a wood and a few mooses here and people sitting around. They asked: "What do you think we have to do to achieve this? So we will have harmony and no death and aging"
I said:"Send people to the woods and kill old and injured?"
Then they told me, and they told me, and they told me.....
And their last sentence was:"Our hands are clean from your blood"
Here i became interested and starting to ask what they ment.
It appers that they preach (or bug people) just because the bible says that if somone knows the truth and doesnt teach others, then their blood will be on his hands. So they are walking around not to get new members, but to say to God:"Yeah, we tried"
Thats why they so easyly end the conversation. they dont fear for your sould but for theirs. Selfish.
Anyway, i thought bout that image of heaven, and understood that it cant exist while there is freew ill or unleast the good and evil knowledge.
So imagine: you die, and God (or whatever diety) asks you: here is a cool land, with all-you-can-eat, wha do you choose: ill take your knowledge of good and evil and you will be in this luxury like a beast, or i leave your will, and you will get bored of heaven in time?
this way there will be no judgement, etc, but you will be left a choice....And i guess the way you live your life here will affect what you choose.
I remember Kirgegors' (i know i did a typo in his name) philosophy of existentialism where he said: "We choose between comfort and freedom"
As for me it was obvious that this book was ment to say: be free, enjoy freedom. But when i staed this sentence to one of my friends she answered: Ha i knew it, freedom isnt needed at all.
So people do make other choices..... And live a bored life in hell, and vice versa
