Can you further explain this phrase please.  By this phrase you seem to mean that intent is your life goal...am i understanding this correctly?

"Intent is to Etiquette - as cadillac is to cars.  It is Specifically what you want.  A certain single thing or two.  "

HI Laurel.

not precisely, since you are asking about intent as equaling "the life goal."  We just need a little clarification.

Etiquete is your agreement with yourself on what you are all about; what you stand for; what you hold dear - and what you want to do with yourself here in this realm - and last but not least, what you would like to do in the next.  the nonessential details - if not holding value to the above items, are not part of your etiquete.  If actions have no value based in your etiquete - why would you waste your energy doing them?

Etiquete is position-based; it is goal-based; it is belief-based; it is the infrastructure you set your descisions to Act on.  For example - If you are christian - your rtiquete defines how you act towards your fellow man - and how you plan to get to heaven.  It will also address additional personal goals you have decided on to make your life easier/harder here - and perhaps to make others lives easier/harder, as befits your decisions to do so.

All this caca can't be hammered out in a single session at Starbucks, no matter how good the pastry or coffee (or company) may be.  This is why we get to go thru "growing up" - we build this space for ourselves as we learn/experience the things attracted to us and by us, in the quest we call "life."

I bet you were wondering why we were here anyway.....why go thru a "growing" period - why not just be "sentient" aware, from scratch - with all knowledge of what you think you need in life...

Etiquete isn't just for "good" folks.  It's for anyone seeking to achieve a goal/goals they have defines as vital, as having value.  Please study these last two sentences carefully.

You need to build an etiquete - whatever you wanna call it in your religion/belief structure/thought process/drunken path between sunday football games or the hooter bars... it is the best reason to go thru "growth", as everything else in life is echoing the format of how you have to spend the time in this life.

Grow, experience, gain insight/make decisons, sharpen abilites - good or bad, doesnt matter; perhaps procreate --- experience child-rearing, or not as is your decision or in spite of your decisions;  begin aging, then expire.  (This is somehat of a condensation )  The experience, mentioned earlier, won't always be "nice" - but it might be.  And some lives don't "last" too long - so the learning is condensed or intense.

consider all those children afflicted with cancer....why the hell would a compassionate "God" do that to a child anyway????  ....for the intense experience gained by that spirit, is why.  Go talk to some of those "unlucky" kids...then tell me if you haven't met an "angel" in this life.

Courage is defined many ways - despite our machinations and proclamations from the pulpits.  Just living according to your Etiquete - however best you have built it....is grounds for respect from most of us.  It is the every-day attempt that defines each of us, regardless whether that "etiquete " takes ALL your life to define, regardless how "pristine" that etiquete appears to sound on paper.

Cadillac is to cars as Intent is to Etiquete.  It means a specific piece of your Plan that you want to work on, to achieve (or perhaps to fail at.)  As it is by definition, personal --- I would not assume that every piece of your Plan (Etiquete) is positive or goal-oriented.  This is part of the growth process - both earth-based, and spiritually-based.  We often make "bad chioces."  That is part of free-will.  You would not want it any other way.

When you lay out things in your Plan that you decide are vital to accomplish - you decide to learn new tools, or employ new strategies - and you begin to Focus your energies towards that specific item in the Plan.  The reference of "Cadillac is to Cars" means that -- it is very difficult for anyone to accomplish many Plan items at once...and it is more simply a choice of priority as to which gets the attention and energy; it also becomes a reflection of your Insight.   This is where your hexcraft can come in handy - to focus your Intent with the psychic/spiritual/religious tools available to you.  But any tool employing Focus will be handy in your arsenal.

Thank You.  This, in conjunction with our other discussions, has given me a firm grasp of ettiquette.  Now its time to get to work.
