Failure is just another way of getting closer. This is why I have found Zen useful, but anything that works - is useful."

Please tell me more about failure and how it helps us get "closer."  Does this mean it is a guide for a number of situations?  For instance, failure makes us try something different or learn to do something better?  Perhaps it keeps us humble and that is what is important?

How does Zen relate to failure?

Thanks,
Evonne

as a preface, pls read the first half of "splinters on the beam" under the Balance Series.   Then read the third chat session on Spiritual Path and the Yellow Brink Road, where the text addresses Creed #10, "never let 'em see ya sweat."   #10 is about failure.

yeowza.
