Just something I wanted to mention as I remember someone saying that they only ever checked the General Board.

 

The easiest way to keep on top of what is going on on the boards (rather than trying to work out which boards are moving as I used to)  is to click on

 All Message Boards (6th from the top of the side menu) then look to the bottom of the list and click on View all message boards at once at the bottom of the list of message boards. 

 

Although it is still best if posting a new discussion to go directly to the board you want so that it ends up in the right place but replying works fine using the method above.
