Sit at your computer, relax with your cuppa, take five minutes calm. STeady your breath and let your eyes gaze accross the picture. Remember this challenge is about focus - so just look at the pic, choose a point of reference and focus on it...share your experience here in this message board. Good luck everyone, heres the picture.... Love Erika xxxxxxx

Walking arm in arm, and pointing to something in the sky. (did you take your eye 'off the ball'?) I agree with Nana here, something happened involving a long faced dark haired man with moustache. All the same it's my kind of place, trees, trees and more trees. I do feel that someone is watching what's going on. 'Wise men say only fools rush in' I do believe I see a horse! Maybe a racecourse nearby? A black dog - short curly coat. I honestly feel that I have been here before! I see the head of a lion - leo - it wasn't your birthday on this particular day?? A small jetty to the left as you walk down to the water's edge. Bicycles. Hope I got at least something Erika lol Polly xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

I have been looking at this picture a little while, I feel such peace and a magic but also a feeling of someone passing, but still peaceful. I feel a huge connection to spirit here, tranquility a meeting place. Picnics, families gathering and I got a huge smell(physically) of coffee, like someone passed stepped forward and impressed this smell upon me. I want to say lady, smiley, about 67 68 silver curly hair, cardigan and thick tweedy type just under the knee skirt. About 5'5 5'6 a little plumpish, beautiful smiley lady, like to bake and knit..not sure if knitting right, something similar perhaps. I do feel there are visitations by Spirit to this area, so many memories to for many people, scotland and the lochs come into mind and I want to say Loch Arbor?? Paddling, collecting pebbles, building little dams, catching fish, a rowing boat out in the middle of the lake, dreaming, sleeping. Connecting with Nature and Spirit. A memory of feel grandma greeting you with such loving open arms, lovely lavender fragrances, her smell stays with you...such love and comfort in her arms. Rolling on the grass in summer, like a game with children, rolling down the hill. Feeling of loving to get dirty n scuffed knees, always having accidents, not a kid that could stay well groomed, more of a tom boy, much to mothers dismay at times, but all light hearted, like ahh well its just her!! lol I want to mention a very fine gold chain with a little gold charm on it, the chain snapped several times, was no point you wearing it after a whille, kept safe, feel this to do with a grandma again. Trains just came into my head, old steam type train, a trip in the country and a zoo visit, Paignton n Danby Wiske come into mind but this could be my memories cutting in. A general feel of past and memories is what I get from this scene, but also of generations past and present still visiting, creating new memories but remembering those not still around, but I feel very strongly this a place of visitation where those passed and present join together because this is a special, ancient and sacred place where an old settlement used to be, I do feel a stone monument and perhaps castle ruins nearby, stonehenge comes into mind, feel ley lines cross under this place...so makes it even more sacred a place and easier to connect with past. Ok thats me Love Shellyxx |

ok straight away I got a picnic the nice weather people coming together alot of people bumping in to each other saying oh hi how are you it's been a while so maybe a gala or something. Now I don't know if it's time jumping around but i get the sence of the 1950's (fancy dress maybe not sure) I see a big old 50's style american car (white) and see a lady dressed in a 50's style pink dress hair tied up with a ribbon and glasses that go up at each side. happy thoughts. I get a man down there right near the water sad maybe he was really depressed and couldn't take anymore again I sence american but think he was in the army not very old, I get that this would be a place people have taken pictures and seen sprit or orbs on the photos. |

the picture was taken on the banks of the Shenandoah River in Virgnia, USA. Just outside Mount Vernon. Barry and I went picnic-ing there just before he left America so it must have been in the summer of 2000. Without further a do, onto the feedback.... Nova - The place we sat was 'oh-so-quiet' and abosultely wonderul - and Wonderful world really fits the bill. When we put our picnic basket back in the car, we walked up the river a little to find laods of people, dogs, kids, loads of people also out for the day in the sunshine. Nana - The Shenanoah is a river steeped in history Nana, even as i sit her I tingle form head to toe at the connections i still have with the river form the days of the civil war - I think your lady might be from one of my past lives a nurse that I worked with in the civil war. In the Autumn sometimes the mist comes right up the river Almost to Washington DC. Polly - We were pointing at a woodpecker. The long faced dark haired man would be me in my past life - as part of the american civil war - I was a soldier. The place is serenity personified, and my guide mary was nearly ALWAYS with me when we would go on our outdoor rambles, she took al ong time to accept Barry - those words were her words whenever she was with me if he was around (I never told him that though ). I am 99% certain there is a racecourse across the river in Maryland. The lion is misleading i think - we had to have the hearts of a lion to get through the last few days of Barry being in the USA, and we both put a brave face on it a lot of the time. Not sure about the dog Polly will have a dig around. It wasn't a birthday, but we did have cake. The jhetty was there and Barry is a bik fanatic and never drove his car in America - he cycled everywhere. Mandy - It was a time of happiness and a time of sadness, we were both dreading the day Barry would have to come back to UK, but tried to make the most of every moment we had together. The children were playing a little up river, loads of them. It would be barry in the trees, and he was sad. Elaine - Amongst the many people down by the river, were lots of re-inactment folks, and lots of ladies in big dresses and parasols, despite the Virginian heat! Firece Lion roaring was the sheer force of keeping away the tears I think - it really was an emotional time. The scottie dog could be Barry's he used ot have two little white dogs. The man sound a lot like my step father. Linda - Thanks for posting hunny Shelly - you were spot on with the whole emotion, but it wasnt a passing, just barry leaving - it was as if he died though on an emotional level, we hosetly didnt know when (or if) we would ever see each other again. It sounds a bit drastic, but it was very complicated back then. We did have a picnic there, and Barry and I used to make coffee time a special and sacred thing between us. The lady would be my granny, bless you for bringing her through. I thik those memeries woudl be of all thepeople there on the day. I dont have a chain from gran, but iw ill ask my mum. Trains is all about my dad, hes nuts about model railways and i lused ot live in devon. There are a few old buidligns nearby, but not stone castles, but old building snone the less. Always - Spot on, we were there having a picnic and there was a whole re-inactment thing going on with lots of people and cosutmes and stalls and all sorts. the man would be barry, he is in the air force, and yes it is america. It hink some of my other photos of the day have orbs in them - i didnt want to post one with orbs oin in case it distracted you all LOL SO WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!!!!!! I'll be back in a mo with the next cuppa time challenge. Loce and light Soldarath |
