The photo is taken at Ruislip Lido, just up the road from where we live., taken about three years ago I think. We used to frog march (quite literally, no car allowed, a two mile walk each way LOL) the kids down there on Sundays to the play park, but they are a bit old to be bossed around anymore, and would have you belive they are too big for swings. Left to right is Kayleigh then Alex and then Tori.
Andto the feedback.....
Nana - I can take nehama, I think i gave rustic feather an inpromptu message once, and nehama was the indian chief, he was sat around a fire with Steve, who had a talking stick talking to a ring of children who were hanging on his every word.
Nova - The lido is an amazing place to go, Barry and i walk there on our own sometimes, and yes, it is his retreat onhis moutnain bike, when he just needs peace he goes there and cyles for a couple of hours. The kids, back then, were always the noisiest kids in the park, Victoria doesn't have volume control, shes either full on noisy or fast asleep LOL Immediatley behind me is the lake itself, its huge, and i think our very first photo challenge was taken from the other side looking accross the lake at the woods that are actaully a little way to the left of where the kids are playing.
Always - I think you are picking up on the kids energy, back then there were a lot of clashes and a lot of nervous moments with them as they got to know each other better and sorted out their boundaries, when we moved tothis house it took us a bout 6 months to get the balance right for them and to have the right kids in the right room sharing. Also, around the time of this photo I had terrible trouble with my teeth and had to have a couple of teeth out at the dentist (YUK). I sense one of the childrens guides in the picture, but couldn't see where - thank you for seeing him too.
Elaine - There are always lots of children at the lido Elaine, and nearly every single time (and it is a bit odd) there is a toddler crying on one of the benches (not the same child) invariably a well prepared parent would dig out a favourtie teddy to calm the tears. I reckon you are seeing the childrens guides with those gentlemen.
Jewels - you and nana both getting the indian make me wonder if there isn't more to this than meets the eye.....Mmmm....when its warmer i think i will go and meditate there and see what I get.
WELL DONE EVEYRONE!!!!!!!!!! You all did really really well.
