I think i should explain my situation first before i tell uz of the weird dream that keeps repeating itself!
I have a step daughter who lives in Scotland with her mother, we see her often, for a few day or weeks when we can, she's 4!
anyway my dream is when we visit her she's very neglected, and i seem to check her body for signs of neglection, i then notice on her back that she has ring worm in several places, and i always check through her hair for headlice, and when i see it, its in huge lumps!! also my family around me is telling me i need to help her and that these are neglection signs. this is all i ever seem to remember of my dream, not sure if it has a message or if its just my mind playing tricks lol
can anyone sense anything from this??

I can't sense anything as such Donna apart from the fact that you obviously really love this wee soul and worry about her. It can be so hard being a stepmum - you can love them as much as you do your own but you don't have any real say in their lives. Maybe just keep an extra eye on her............maybe there is even something troubling her that she is hiding under the surface bless. Maybe just a tiny thing that she has built up in her mind. Thanks Nova, i do love her very much, just like my own, i have done since she was 7months old. i practiy brought her up for a year and a half as her own mother was too busy partying!! could be just my mind worrying about her!

Hi Donna, Having just read through your message, straight away I got: You are worried for her because she's so far from you, You feel protective (as if you should be her mum) and the fact she's so far from you is making you feel like you cant protect her, as if being so far from you, you wont be able to protect her from neglect. I'm sure she's in fine fettle, it's your protective mothering instincts that are coming to the fore in this dream. Which is no bad thing  . Thank guys, putting my mind at rest! Just hope her mother takes good care of her when we're not there as i know in the past when my partner and i were looking after his daughter, her mother never gave a toss, to put it politely lol

Hi Donna!!! Well it seems that you only see parasites on her in your dream. I get the sense that it is more than you just loving this little one to bits. I know that this may seem extreme or even nasty to say, and I am not trying to be mean or anything, just trying to decipher your dream, the parasite is either her real mom or something in relation to her little life when she is not with you. Possibly the parasite can be an influence in her life (like her mom) that you are concerned about. Look into the things that she talks to you about or the things you worry about where she is concerned and I'm certain it will be something to do with influences on her little mind. Martine |
