Blue bell posting about Amethyst made me remember a dream I had sometime back.
sometime ago when I was having some not so good luck,
I dreamt I was in the plymouth market and a man who had a stall with all sorts of birth stones ect, called me over to him and said"you are not having a good time of things,I want you to buy this amethyst from me ,then you must smash it as hard as you can onto the ground and each way the bits of amethyst travel will open up ways of good luck for you".
well ,that same day I went to the market and there he stood on his stall.I went over to him and purchased some amethyst.
in fact after all this time I still carry it around in my bag,as I just couldn't bring myself to smash it onto the ground.
do you think I should have followed the instruction I got in my dream??lots of love,Brandy xxxxxxx |

I thinkyou were right not to destroy it. Chances are that the reason he said to smash it in your dream was so that you would remember the dream. Amethyst is the spiritaulists stone, and enhances any energy around you (postive and negative) if you don't know how to shield the neagtive - so if you had smashed it into a hundred bits, you would have been enhancing all that negative energy that was around you one hundred fold. Well done you for following your own intuition (even if you didn't know it) and not smashing the stone. Love and Light Erika xxxxxxxx |

Thanks everyone for your replys,I'm glad I didn't .I think I may hold it in my hand when I next meditate.
I have amythst and crystal ,but not really sure what I should be doing with them.
I have noticed that I seem to have a lot of luck with a very smooth flint type stone( I'v had it so long I can't even remember where I got it)
but when I'v wanted something to happen (I don't know why I do this)but I fill the washing up bowl full to the brim with cold water,as I'm placing the flint type stone into the bowl I request my wish.and nine times out of ten my wish seems to be granted. Brandy xxxxxx |

I am so glad you didn't shatter it to pieces!!! Amethyst is such a wonderful stone, it will soothe you, cleanse and heal any imbalances in your system, love. It certainly was a message to get some for yourself though. If you keep an amethyst in your pocket or your purse all the time, it will surround your with positive energy...
