Just lately i have had the most horrific dreams and wake upi in a cold sweat and each one i think i am awake and unable to move thej i actually wake up.

this was the worst one so far

i am in a dungeon with animals and we are all strapped onto racks and the naimlas can talk.A man comes in with a mask over his face and wordlessley he comes to each of us and hits us all on the arms with a bat with spikes on it which smashes our arms we all try and scream but no noise comes out. We can all see what is ahppening to the person next to us on the racks, for some reasson i seem to wake here . I sit upright in bed and see Micheale (hubby) asleeo next to me and i call him and and i can't get my voice out the room is really bright and i feel frightened. Then i wake up for real and am drenched in sweat and my heart is pounding and when i look i am aon my own in bed a si should be as hubby works nights.
I do go back to sleep eventually but i no longer have any dreams this time till it is time to get up

I sensed a feel of helplessness as i read the post, like there are things going on around you that you have no contorl over at all, and that makes you nervous and worried.  Sort of like waiting to hear news, and having now idea if it will be good news or bad news.  (The sense i get is similar to being told at work that there will be reduncancies, but not knowing if you are on the list).

The whole feel of the dream, is that someone else is in control of things, and not making decisions you are happy with and that leaves you feeling at odds with a lot of things.  You feel powerless to help assist in something - even though you might feel you should do something, everything you would try would result in it all 'falling on deaf ears'.  So you have to sit and watch it all pan out in front of you, even though you'd really like to help and get things on a more balanced track.

It could be that you are just 'letting go' of old hurts and old worries, or walking away from old behviours - a sort of spiritual clearing out of stuff that you no longer need, and that is generally disruptive and not nice to go through if it disturbs our sleep.  But the good thing is that by processing it in your sleep, its done, and gone when you wake up - you are out of that whole drama, and a new day waits for you (even if you are a bit bushed and tired by it all you've done all the hard energy work in your subconsicous as you sleep).

Hope this helps shed some light on it for you darlin' lavender and rosemary in your bedroom or ina warm bath at bedtime, would help a little too.

Love Erika xxxxxxxxxx
