Don't worry you will find that Spirit will send you messages in this way - it sounds as though he wants you to speak to his wife about this - would this be possible do you think?

A lot of the messages we receive are as you describe imagery. What you have described has given not only you confirmation that you are gifted but also reassurance to your friend that he really is in a better place,

Hi Lily, there are many ways that Spirit can contract us.  When you are getting symbols from a pic that's great - I do it myself and many others on the site ask for photos when we are doing the Readathon (it can help them connect)   I really do not think that there is any real sophisticated way to communicate with Spirit, if they want to contact you then they do it in a way that is easiest for you to comprehend.  They seldom give me symbols because they are wasted on me as I find them very difficult to pick up. lol

 

There are loads of different ways that Spirit can connect with you:

 

Clairvoyance - (objective) this is when the medium sees a spirit person as if he is physically present and (intuitive) this is when a medium is in an attuned state, a thought picture of a person in Spirit is conveyed through his mind.

 

Clairaudience - is the hearing of Spirit voices.

 

Clairsensience (I think thats the way it is spelt lol) is using your senses to pick up on Spirit.  Perfume, tobacco, flowers, herbs etc

 

Automatic Writing - is very much like trance speech the difference being that the hand is used to write the thoughts instead of speech.

 

Psycometry - An object that has been in the possession of a person or associated with incidents can absorb radiations from its owner, and that a clairvoyant or the likes can become aware of these impressions.

 

There are several more ways Lily but they are very advanced so I wont go down that road because I wont know what I'm talking about lol.     Hope this info. helps.

Hmm I think Im way off with clairsentience - sorry lol.  I have been advised that its to do with touch and gut feelings so it must be very much like psychometry (if not the same thing!)

Awww thanks Lily for your kind words but alas we are all here developing.  Some started on their path before others - some of the younger ones have just started but have come on leaps and bounds.  Reading helps open your mind hence the information that is given on this forum is very important to all of us.  If you haven't read all the threads already (lol) hopefully you will find what you are looking for - if not just ask.   Oops got carried away there - sorry.

I've nothing ot add to what others have said here, i jsut wanted to say WELL DONE Lily for posting and for asking your questions.

 

Spirit will work with you in the way that is best for you - there are no set ways, so all you have to do is try and find a little trust and belief in yourself, the best way to do that is to keep going, anhd it does take time. 

 

We are all learning and developing together as Polly says, so don't worry about asking questions, or doubting yourself, we all go there from time to time.
