Dear Friends

Please pray for the soul of Tony as he makes his final journey today.  He leaves his wife of 62 years, Dorothy, who really isnt accepting it and cant understand why he isnt responding, and his daughter (only child) Kathleen (my best friend).  On his last morning he was saying 'no' repeatedly and when asked why he said that 'Him up there is reaching out for me....he is so young and lovely".  Kathleen told him it was OK, just to go to Him but Tony wasn't ready.  At tea time he told them that he was ready now and that 'He is reaching out for me again'.  He slipped quietly away a few hours later, his last words to his wife were 'I love you babe' and at 83 that is so lovely isnt it.

God bless and keep him.

love and light

Linda xx

I pray that Tony has a safe transition Linda and send healing to his family too.  If I see what Tony saw in his last hours then I will be happy.  God bless him.

Thank you all friends for your prayers and kind thoughts.  Yes, Polly, he was very lucky wasn't he.

The funeral went well, the little chapel was full and the last post with the standard falling was very poingnant.
