Dad, if I could once see your loving, tender and smiling face,
your laughing eyes and hear your cheerful voice,
to hold you once again and breathe in your presence,
then my dreams would be fulfilled,
my life complete and worthwhile.
But dad, I wouldn't want you back to suffer yet again.
Go rest in peace, join your family and friends,
given time I shall be OK,
For I know you are guiding me from above,
I feel within my heart you sweet amd precious love.

Many Thanks for everything you taught me.
Your devoted daughter
Barbara

Hey Purple - that was beautiful.
Seems this Christmas season will be bittersweet for a few of us.
